Create one comprehensive multicategory product, or a bunch of cheaper smaller products?

I have read a few threads on creating products. I have discovered two schools of thought:

1. Create a nice product, sell on the backend
2. Create a lot of smaller $7 products

Could I get some opinions from Warriors as to their favorite method?

Thanks

I have not done this yet, but others have variations of this and this is an plan I am going to try.

Assuming all your products are closely related to the same niche, maybe sell your individual products for a lower price, each independent of the other. Then after someone makes a purchase of one, upsell the others in a package as a OTO. Then a second offer if they pass on the upsell for a few of the products in a package they put together themselves through a shopping cart.

If they pass on the upsells, you will have them in your autoresponders for your products. Then you can make them offers on affiliate products related to those they bought from you. You can also put your other products in front of them in the future, when they might be ready for them at that time.

Each of those school of thoughts has hundreds of classes and lessons inside them. It really depends on your experience, financial resources, and all the other variables blah, blah blah... You might get some decent generic advice in this thread, but take it with a grain of salt unless they have enough info to really help you.

Personally I like to create a nice product and sell on the high end, but don't listen to me because I don't know your situation either.
