Yet another question about articles

Hello all. This may be a dumb question... but what the heck...

For those that have written a ton of articles (for adsense) and posted on your website do you create a sub-domain on your website for the articles (www.mydomain.com/article_name)? Or did you buy a domain name for every article that you write.

I know a few folks that bought domain names for their sites, and I've personally created subdomains under my domain to post them.

I ask because I was wonder which would be better. I only have a few folks' opinions, so I ask the folks here what you all think.

Thanks everyone in advance.

Buying a new domain for every article would not only get expensive, but hard to do if you are writing a lot of articles in popular niches. Most keyword-rich domains in popular niches are already taken. Also, your use of the term "subdomain" is incorrect. somesite.com/some_dir is not a subdomain. some_sub.somesite.com is a subdomain

If you're going to be creating a lot of unique articles, and you are serious about online business, it's best to host your site/articles professionally. Use a wordpress blog, sure, but set it up on your own hosting site.

Perhaps I'm paranoid, but I say this because my first blog (hosted with blogger) with a lot of unique content (and a lot of traffic) was lost. I know it does not happen a lot, but it does happen and you don't want to win that particular lottery.

RE the original question, I would set up a wordpress blog and slot your articles into relevant categories that you create.

              Good Advice drr,

When I started blogging a few years ago, I started out using blogger as well. I had over 100 blogs bringing in a a few hundred a day in sales. Then they started getting locked and deleted.

I then got my own domain and started to use wordpress blogs :--))

If you are trying to just create sites for article niches one thing you can do is be creative with the main domain name you choose for example if you choose a general name such as tips-advice-reviews . com then you can create blogs like dog-training-help.tips-advice-review.com or weight-loss.tips-advice-review.com

My main point is you can be creative with your main domain and then create allot of blogs under it.

              Cheers,

              Paul

Theres no real need to buy a separate url.. just put the keyword into a subfolder.
