Yeah, I've been sitting on the idea for a year, but really didn't have the motivation at first to make it or share it for that matter. Keep in mind anything sold here wouldn't even equal 1% of what I'm making on a monthly basis with my other ventures and car dealership group. Had all the notes and had written down all my methods in the past, but never put them all together in a book. Being back on here just reminds me of the same passion I had way back when I first got started in IM. If I can help some warriors out in the process with my WSO, then I'm all for it! My thoughts yesterday were if I have ambition to put this all together, then maybe their will be people who'll have that same ambition once they start digging into my WSO to chase their own dreams. I've chased mine as far as I want to go, but I can't hog everything to myself forever, it felt like it was time to put it out there..

You can make money by adding affiliate links to your blog. If you're talking about lets say "cars". You can talk about the latest vehicles that have come out and the innovative products that they're using.

You can link those products for purchase to your blog site, so if readers are interested, they can go ahead and purchase it. You'll get a small percentage and cut out of the sale.

If you'd like to read more, look up "affiliate links and blogs".

Certainly yes, but you should bear in mind that you need targeted traffic for your affiliate products to sell.

For example if your blog is about auto.

You can promote affiliate products related to auto, it could be car, car parts, tires, lubricant, engine e.t.c

Touche. I do like the advertising space which you recommended. I think that'll yield him the greatest amount of profit, assuming the traffic volume is up there. Perfect example is message boards. People pay top dollar for their business banners to be circulating in high volume forums.

You monetize a blog the same way you monetize a conventional site.

The difference is actually not much, a blog allows you to interact with your visitors while with a conventional site you can not.

Here are some few tips to monetizing a blog especially when you personalize it and not the free account.

    1. Sell ads space.
    2. Incorporate adsense
    3. Promote affiliate products

Why not create a blog that sells PLR blogs as they are a hot selling point right now.

you could review products on your blog, just make sure you are honest and include the good the bad and the ugly. Do it for products that have affiliate programs, and you can include a link at the end of each review.

You should try looking for a sponsor, and put his ads on the blog and maybe write a few articles about their products, they usually pay more than google ads.

Thanks for the help everyone. I have a website I just need to get some content on there. I want to have about 3 niches to work with so does that mean that I need to have 3 separate websites? Or can I have a website with subdomains that take them to different parts of the website? I want to be sorta cheap and I hope that this even makes sense lol.

Always use links in your resource box to draw potential buyers to your blog, products, etc. Write the article in a way that entices the reader to 'want' more. Great content will accomplish this. Trying to spam your reader will come back to bite you in the backside!

With blogging It is all about building your audience...Of course you can use videos and link out to other sites...but as long as you are providing value....

It will be better if you could if you could make the videos yourself to beef up your brand. If you post videos from other places only, then you will loose visitors. Because they will go from your website to the owner of the video website because they are the one providing the value...

Like everyone else said you can also promote affiliate products on your blog...

      hope all this makes sense...!

There are lots of great tips here. All of these can help you to succeed in blogging. The best one's were to get self hosting. When you blog on Blogger, you don't own the content so I would stay away from this, and only use it as a 2.0 site to point links to your main site.

As I said, these tips will all work, but let me tell you from experience, blogging is a very tedious process and it takes some time to start making money. But if you can stay with it, it's one of the best sources of incomes that you will find online.

You have to build your site through various methods. If you have enough money to promote with PPC, do it. The faster you get your site out there, the better off you'll be. As mentioned before, get Google Adsense up and running. This won't pay out huge, but it does pay as people hit your site.

Find other bloggers in your niche and reach out to them. Ask them questions, make friends...this is the best way to get your name out there. Also blog commenting is a great way to enforce some great traffic too.

Don't forget about social media either. Staying connected is another great way to promote your site.

The facts of the matter is there are many different methods to promote your blog. Write great content and optimize for the reader, not Google. Build an email list right away, and just get your site out there...it took me 8 months to get a steady income that I could brag about to others with blogging.

The main thing that I did was, I stayed consistent.
