Do you see such high conversion rate?

I'm Newbie, and to be told to choose the best converting products.

i find a product as following:

Average Commission: 31.85 EUR
Vendor EPC: 11.25 EUR

According the Vendor EPC and Commission, the conversion rate=EPC/Average Commission=35% is that right? is it too high? any suggestions? thanks

EPC (Earnings Per Click) is a measure of affiliate promotion efficiency. It represents the average amount you earn per click when selling products online.

Example: Suppose you get a $10 commission for generating sales for a specific product. Let's say you sold 2 products and have 20 clicks. This means that your EPC is (2 x $10) / 20 = $1.

Those sorts of conversion rates are really high. Would you mind giving us an idea of the conversion optimisation techniques you have put in place and what you are promoting?

seems pretty high. Whether or not you can be successful with it depends on a lot of factors.

    1. You need sales material that converts well. Does the vendor provide material (ie affiliate page) or will you be creating?

    2. Targeting your offer to the right people in the right places.

My experience has been "best converting product" doesn't always translate into success for me. Many times a less popular product can have a lot more potential if marketed correctly.

But then that is the secret we are all trying to figure out, isn't it!

Maybe they are achieving such results with 'HIGHLY' targetted - Warm presold visitors ...

with epc's it all depends on the source of traffic too ...

If you send a person searching for fishing net to a hockey product - it's highly unlikely the person would buy - and the resulting epc's would be low ...

It could also be a good technique for vendors to entice affiliates to promote their product ... Maybe you need to test and see if the offer works for you or not ...
