Is it necessary to link google+ page to site's page?

Hi! We have different pages created in google+ for different sections of IT company's site. I have a question - is it necessary to link each google+ page to site's section? Google+ offers me to:

By adding a short line of code to ........... , you can make your Google+ page eligible to show up on the right hand side of the Google search page for relevant queries and make your Google+ page more discoverable.

Is it necessary to link a website to google+ account by adding a code to a section pages?

Thanks.

I assume you are talking about the Google authorship tag? The biggest benefit of using it is the fact that you get your Google+ profile image next to your website's listings in the search results. This can help the click-through-rate for your organic listings.

So you advise to put the code into the section pages (I have about 8 pages in google+ - a page per goods section). Except the CTR will it rank the pages better? As I have told each page in google+ has about 1000 - 3000 pluses.
      Thanks.

Why you want to have different G+ pages for different sections of your website?

I suggest you should focus on one page instead of various pages until you have different popular brands in your company which people like or join.

I don't want to have different pages of google+ which correspond to different sections of the site BUT pages are already created AND they have a big quantity of "+". What to do in such a way?

I don't think its necessary to have it on different pages..
If you can really utilize it properly then you would surely be able to catch a good traffic source for your site with only having G+ on your Homepage.

I think it is necessary to link Google+ page to your site mainly for two reasons:-
Firstly, linking your Google+ page and your site will help you to build relationship with friends and followers.
Secondly, it also gives Google information about the relevancy of your site to a user query in Google Web Search.

Do you mean the Google+ author tags? If you do that ,then an avatar shows up for your result and it says "By Your Name - in 100's circles" below the link.
