How does linkedin shares affect visibility within Linkedin. For example sharing a website or sharing a group post?

Does the content become popular within your network or within the overall community?

    I havent used Linkedin mate but as far I know with social media, once you share a post, it will only be visible on your network or to someones network whom you shared such post .

      So would increased shares or likes on content within your network increase the visibility of the content within your network?
