Thats a nice looking thing. Now get that onto Pinterest, I've seen loads of Info Graphics on there that generate a lot of traffic. You might have to remove the logo to make it generic, but link it back to your site. Have you considered this?

That is a good idea - we have already thought about that. We were just thinking about what we should post there. If we should post there just the infographics, or any other images we create.

      What do you think?

I have seen loads of infographics on there, and if its something useful then people will pin it. I have only used it occasionally and never as a direct source of traffic for any campaigns yet. I do plan on it at some time because there is a lot of people on there which you can't ignore.

I read an idea a long time ago about pinning an infographic on there to force click through's. Because of the length of them, like yours. You would literally cut the thing in half so you only pin the top half of the graphic, and then put a message at the bottom of the graphic saying 'click to see the full graphic'. Because they have read half of it, they will want to see the rest and click through to your site. I thought it was a great idea to get them to click it. You could do a split test to see which was more effective.

I am sure you will have to remove the logo / branding to make it generic, check all the others below to see what you think, I'm not sure company promotion like that is allowed but you could email them to clear it up.

Here's a couple of boards with infographics to give you some inspiration.

If you look around the site, you will see plenty of statistics regarding social networking.

But thanks you for your feedback, I really appreciate it.
It might be glaringly obvious to you, but might not be to the casual observer. Even a simple one-line explanation ("Statistics compiled from data published by social media networks") will help. You can't rely on people surfing your site to check your stats.

This will be even more important if you do decide to share your infographic on other sites.

If you don't think people will be skeptical, just search this forum for "fake screen shot"...

It looks good, but two thoughts immediately came to mind...

    1. What is the source of the statistics?
    2. How do you make this accessable?

I have created some sites using Photoshop rather than Dreamweaver or Wordpress, and in talking with one of my blind friends, his first question was, "How can I read it?" It needs to have accessability for the blind, and images only have the Alt tags.

It becomes a serious problem with infographic pages.

I am grappling with this one too, because it might become duplicate content on the same site if I put up a verbal page with the words so my friend's screen reader can read the page.

I think your infographic design looks good. One thing I might recommend, or maybe its a question I have.. I read through the article portion and was wondering what is the end result of the article/infographic is... How does your information affect businesses, or people? It talks about Facebook penetration, but what can an end user reading your article do with this information? Is it meant only to provide raw data about Facebook?

Thanks for the article, good information!

The design is good and the stats is pretty interesting. I'm just confused with the "Penetration" word you used there. I don't think it's the right word. Maybe you can edit it and change the word to impression or something like that?

Good infographic but the design is very simple and basic, almost boring. Don't just use graphs and charts to get the information across, be more creative than that. Check out visual.ly for inspiration.
