I'm thinking about implementing this for my blog and was wondering if anybody else out there has tried it. If so, how did it work out for you?

First you'll need to create a custom icon for the "add to home screen" feature on the iPhone:

Then you'll need to install this script on your site to create a pop-up for iPhone visitors on their 2nd visit (which I believe to be key):

This sounds like a WSO that went out recently from Jimmy Reilly. When a person comes to your site it asks them if they want an app of your site installed, if you agree, it create what looks like an app on the person iphone or android That app direct links to your website.

hmmm, yea I'm not familiar with the WSO. I'm going to have this implemented in a week or so, and will let you know how it goes.
