Tips on High Converting Product/Order Page?

There are a million tips and guides to high converting websites / landing pages / squeeze pages but there seems to be none on one of the most important.... the Product / Order page!

Does anyone have any tips and suggestions for a high converting product/order page? What should be and shouldn't be there.

Simple. Do a Google search for your niche and open up the top 5-10 websites listed on the first page. Go through them and find out what makes them better than the millions of sites below them.

More important read through the forum.

I can't say much on the sales page, but for checkout a 1-page checkout will hugely increase the conversion rate!

What about testimonials on the product page? Already have one on the landing, but would an extra testimonial video on the product page help users push the buy button?

It's all about copyrighting ..the most important thing is The headline, is what catches the visitor’s attention and draws them into visiting and continue reading or close their browser...

Sales page that explain why the product will be useful for the user and how it can solve a problem that the customer maybe having convert better..

Social testimonials are better than "screen shots " .

A larger “Buy” button as belcher button always convert better.

Take a look at WSO section and warriorplus and analyze the most sold products ..you will get an idea about what convert and what not .

The only thing the top 5-10 websites have proved is the ability to rank on the first page of the search results for one keyword. That says nothing about their conversion rate for sales page to order page and even less about their conversion rate from the order page to completed checkout.

OP, one thing that seems to be present on a lot of successful order pages for single products is a summary of the offer. Remind them just how much they are getting and what it will do for them. You really don't want them clicking on anything but the pay button at this point.

So just a summary and the payment button? That seems like what a lot of my competitors are doing.

I would focus more on driving myself nuts over getting tons of traffic... not an order page.

And yes, you can create an elaborate order page, but if nobody's visiting it, whats the point of it?
