Newbie Here- Please Critique My Site & Tell Me How I Can Make Money Off Of It?

Arrested Development Season 4 News & More - : Arrested Development Season 4 News & More

I bought the domain last week with the intentions of trying to sign people up for Netflix since Arrested Development Season 4 will be exclusively on Netflix but I got denied. I hindsight I probably should of waited to apply until the site was more complete. Anyways I just launched it and I know on the top left it is blank, I am waiting for adsenses to go live.

Anyways, give your thoughts on design, etc. and what my plan of action should be for income.

For those who don't know Arrested Development is a show that was on Fox about 10 years ago with a cult following, got canceled, had a huge cult following and is now coming back spring of 2013 for a new season exclusively on Netflix.

      Well I just launched it on Sunday. I am going to keep updating with news and media. I was hoping to become a Netflix affiliate and have people sign up through the site. I guess I will just try to make some money through Adsense.

        So this is what i should try!!! Awesome. Did this site end up being successful? Did you get many Netflix sign ups? Amazon buys?

    Make it a fan-site (less likely to get a C&D if they see it as promoting their show instead of profiteering) and offer things like posters, season 1-3 dvds, tshirts, whatever through Amazon affiliate.

      Ah cool thanks for the advice. C&D = Cease & Desist right?

      Do you think to make my "first dollar" online I should commit to something like this? i.e. Affiliate marketing?

    build a list of subscribers. Put a squeeze page, give away something related to the show for free and then follow up with them to offer more entertainment stuff for cash...

    Include popup, exit popup, using navigation bars and within your content, stuff couple of squeeze pages out there in every section and build your list.

    Provide value, build relationship with them, ask them what more they want, then find or create something that they need.

    Keep doing this till you know what your visitors actually want from you...
