Colleen, Hi, I'm the original owner / creator of Opt-in Quiz Generator. I sold the script because my team was in the process of developing the replacement to OQG...with tons of new features. Rather than try to add on to the original, we felt it was necessary to develop the script from scratch. The new script is named Quiz Squeeze Generator. It has not been released as of yet, but will be in just a couple weeks from now. I could help you get an early release of the script if you are in urgent need. Anyhow, let me share with you the new features of Quiz Squeeze Generator: > We now have support for different question types: multiple choice (radio buttons), multiple choice (drop down), short answer (free text), and long answer (free text). In addition, you can optionally include a comment box under either of the multiple choice question types. > Scoring. For the multiple choice type questions, you can assign a point value to each of the answers...and provide an over-all score...with feedback based upon different score ranges. > List Segmenting. You can select ONE question from your quiz and use the answers from that question as a means to segment the opt-ins into different auto responder lists. For example, you could ask a simple profiling question about whether they were male or female...and display a different opt-in form for each. This would allow your follow-up emails to better connect with the prospect. You can also redirect to a completely different URL based upon the answer they selected in this question. Pretty powerful. > Personalization and customization. You can personalize and customize your sales letters or pre-sell pages with the information you obtain from the quiz using special {##TAGS##} in the copy. You can insert the quiz-taker's firstname, fullname, email, opt-in date, current date, and score...as well as the actual answer from any of the questions in the quiz. In addition, you can select an alternate text to display for an answer by using an ALT_TAG. For example, instead of inserting "Male", you can specify alternate text for that answer, say "man". You also have use of a COPY_BLOCK tag for each answer. This means you can actually insert an entire paragraph or more of copy into your sales letter based upon the answer to an individual quiz question. BTW, your sales letter is not created through our script. It's your own sales letter in normal html. You just insert the tags anywhere in your sales letter copy, add three lines of code to the HEAD section of the page...and that's it! > Template Gallery. We've had a web designer creating a bunch of web templates in different designs, with multiple color schemes for each. All the files are put together as a package in a zip file. You can select a template from our Template Gallery website (free), download the package, and upload to your script. Works just like WordPress Themes. We'll be constantly adding new templates for a while. > The old version (OQG) already had Google Analytics and AdWords Tracker Code integration. With QSG, we've gone a few more steps with this. We've added support for easily integrating Clicktale and Woopra. > Google Website Optimizer. You can now test your landing page elements using the power of multivariate testing via Google Website Optimizer. We made it super-simple. > Improved Reporting. OQG's reporting wasn't that great. We've fixed that in QSG. You can now see the number of unique visitors, unique optins, number of opt-ins by list segmenting question answer choice, and optionally, the number of product sales generated from quiz leads. These are the major improvements over the original. The script is completed, we're just working on documentation and marketing materials now. There's nothing there right now (no opt-in form or sales page, but you can keep a watch at quiz-squeeze-generator.com for the release in a couple weeks. BTW, quizzes are still working great! I've received tons of feedback from past customers, and they report strong conversions. Quizzes are also an awesome way to build a list for back-end CPA promoting. I have a few customers who are doing just that with GREAT success. They report that it works better for them than direct linking their traffic to the offer...and then they have a list to make other offers to over time! Ed Turner |
