Page from site Copied

INTERNET MARKETING

I was checking my backinks on Ahrefs and I seen that someone has copied a page of my content and but also given a link back to the page on my site, what should I do?

Reach out to them with a stern note (assuming you want them to remove?) and if that doesn't work file a DMCA

It's nearly impossible to ensure no one's going to copy your pages. As for the backlink, I might be wrong but doesn't Google Webmaster Tools have something to report/remove backlinks or something?

I haven't had my own website in a while or checked out the newest features of Google Webmaster Tools but I swore they had something like that.

I don't have any problem with it. The guy is getting content and I am getting a free backlink. Also it doesn't matter as it is already indexed on your site first. I would love to have everyone copy my content and give a link back to me.. lol

This is a true story...

I wrote out a really in-depth review for SenukeX whenever it was launching and posted it on a review site I own. I then noticed another site had literally copied and pasted my article, images and even affiliate links across.

Then I had an issue with my hosting, my site was down at the time and I managed to sell a lifetime license netting me something like $600...
