What do you think of Disqus traffic?

I recently added the Disqus comment widget on my blog. After a couple of days, I started seeing traffic from Disqus and not just few visitors but in good healthy numbers. I never heard before from anyone about Disqus as a traffic generation tool so it's a surprise for me. I want to know if this traffic is any good or it's just some bots stuffing my stats and nothing else???

    How much profit or sales are you seeing from Disqus? I think that alone will tell you the quality of the traffic.

    Is the traffic targeted?
    Is the traffic random pings/spiders being counted as human visitors?

    If the traffic is random, then all you're going to do is increase the load on your servers and your bandwidth.

      Well, what's the main point of your blog? Is it just to entertain people, make sales, make money through AdSense/Amazon, etc?
