Where to learn about link building from newbie?

Hi warriors,
I know nothing about link building. I don't know where to get start to send traffic to my site. Could anyone tell me where i can learn about link building?

    If you want become genius follow genius. One of the best internet marketer Frank Kern published the video how to build a list. List Getting Video Part 1 on masscontrolsite by Frank Kern. First part is about why, and second is how.

    Just ask the google

    I believe it will help you a lot.

    I would study the materials over at HubSpot. They take ethical link building seriously. To do it right and naturally, focus on content creation and social networking. They have built their entire business on creating a great blog and getting it shared like crazy on Twitter and Facebook.

    Link building may not happen quickly in that scenario but it will be Google pleasing.

    The best way to build backlinks is naturally. And by naturally I mean by creating good content and then promoting your website as a business. In Google's current algorithm it has become nearly impossible to "trick" Google into giving you credit for fabricated linking.
