Still Not Making Money Online? How Long Do You Spend Researching As Oppose To Taking Action?

There are millions of people trying to make money online. It has always interested me since I got started with IM WHY some people are able to make money online and others struggle for years without making a cent.
Don't get me wrong!
If you HAVE been working online for more than a year and you are STILL yet to make that first sale then I truly admire your stamina!
I would of given up a long time ago if it took me longer than 3 months to make a sale. For the record I think it took me about a week, or a week and a half until I hit my first $16.58 sale!
I was (as you can imagine) over the moon! You would think I had won the lottery the way I was jumping about. There was a thread a few days ago that went along the lines of saying if you are intelligent you might have trouble making money online as you tend to "over think" things.
I just wanted to ask - for those that are struggling to make money online - how long do you spend reading up and how long do you spend implementing?
I will tell you from my experience online which is coming up to ten years - there is NO one method that I have found that will work forever. You need to stay on top of things as the web changes.
Just look at SEO over the last few years.
My advice is to spend 3 hours a day if possible actually implementing a method or strategy that you have been putting off. If it doesn't work try another and don't give up.
If you keep going you will strike gold and then the KEY is building from it.
