Marketing Software Opinions

Since I apparently cannot comment on my own post in certain categories yet, I need to start a new thread. I want to buy some marketing software to help build my websites and backlinks, as well as keyword research. So my question is this...

What software or multiple products should I buy to consider my arsenal fully equipped? I would like to know your selections and also why you choose them. Right now from my other post I am interested in Market Samurai, Magic Submitter, and SENuke. Awaiting your replies. Thanks.

Joe

Here is the right forum for your question:

Also try using the search button and you should get quite a few opinions regarding
    the software you mentioned.

Most of them are complete garbage that will do more harm than anything else. For example, out of the ones you listed above, market samurai is the only one that is ehhh...the other two are junk.

I personally can't vouch for the quality of SENukeX/Magic Submitter; but stating they do more harm than anything is nothing more than a result of whatever linking strategies you use. If you blast your site directly with all the modules available in SENuke, you're only shooting yourself in the foot. There seems to be a trend of when websites tank, somehow it ends up being the tools fault.

Now, that being said; Ultimate Demon has been getting the job done for a few months now for us. Clients, and my own niche websites have seen nothing but positive results. Scrapebox also works wonders when use correctly, as well as GSA SER. Here's a guide showing how to utilize and compare most of these tools. Keep in mind before dishing out the funds on any of these tools... you need to understand the core concepts behind the backlinking methods. Automated tools are a double edged sword; they can destroy your website, or boost you to the top of the SERPS. It's ALL about how you use them... in reality, most link building tools are quite similar.

As far as keyword research goes... I use a variety of tools for this only because it caters to my keyword research methods. In a nutshell, I use Ultimate Niche Finder to generate huge lists of keywords and then sort/expand/crop/filter until I have a list of about 30,000 keywords ALL to my filter standards. Then I evaluate the competition with UNF (one of the very few KW tools that actually use the best combination of metrics to accurately measure seo competition). Afterwards, I scope out the very easy - easy keywords with Traffic Travis to get a view of what the top 10 competitors look like, then further sort out keywords. You can then use Scrapebox to analyze the backlinks the competing page has... then lastly, just view the actual page you're competing with and note down how you can create better, more relevant, and more helpful content.

I'm aware that it should go in that category, only as soon as I submit my post I can no longer comment on it. Not until i have at least 20 posts according to the warriorforum settings.

Really?!? I am very intrigued by your answer that they are mostly junk. Can you elaborate a little bit. I'm trying to catch up on years of knowledge that you all have on me.

Ok - thanks for the comments. I have three questions.

      1. What does EMD stand for?
      2. What don't you like about Magic Submitter?
      3. What do you think of Brad Callens Niche Finder?

Thanks for answering those questions. Let me ask you another question. Does the domain name really matter? Because we are ranking per page anyways right?

I don't know why people aren't catching on...you're going about this the wrong way. Sure, the domain name matters. You should even get an EMD if it's a super niche website. BUT, stop trying to "please" the search engines. Too many people are filling the web with stupid garbage because they have it in their heads, that if they get their pages #1 on Big G, they'll be stacking benjamins on their beds in no time. this is just so backwards it's annoying.

produce content to please PEOPLE, not MACHINES. no one buys things off of spammy websites, and SEO softares that promise #1 rankings on your KW's are a waste of time and money. please the people and you'll make money...pleasing the machine will just leave you saying, "this IM stuff is all a scam"

get the priorities right, becasue they're in left field. #toughlove

::cough:: BS. you might rank on a pointless keyword or deep in the results, but you certainly aren't ranking top 3...and even if you magically did, it would barely bring any traffic in. SEO aint what it used to be

Geez dudeman you've got some strong opinions. So what is your suggestion at this point since you inferred that most of these products were crap. Which one is going to best help me and why?

          Best way to get people's attention is to be controversial. It's my brand {im not all that bad}. To answer your question, nothing beats the human touch. {that is lacking these days IMNSHO}

WRONG you can rank with any software that works and if used right it will rank.

Get a name you like and rank it Dont worry about the domain.

And again your Wrong about Magic submitter and Alex.
I never said anything about using hyphens...and you're making it clear that you don't "get" SEO concepts. I'm not wrong, and I'm not being devious. But keep thinking that...you're one less competitor I'll have to worry about.

I have no angle here other than interjecting objective truth from all this nonsense. I won't bother arguing with you, so I'll save my thoughts.

I will say this: it makes me sad that new warriors will listen to this kind of bullspit and then wonder why they can't make any money. People like you send people down the wrong path and then give this industry a bad name by doing so.

As i am an Apple Mac user i can never buy good softwares as they are all built and optimized for windows computers - heart breaking i know...

But this pushed me into out sourcing seo services which in some cased i have made great contacts through. Anyway i noticed that most of them seem to use SENuke as it covers a lot of link building areas, so perhaps instead of getting lots of separate softwares SEnuke might be worth a try.

    Hope this helps

You should try to outsource too. Regarding your marketing budget you can hire people who are specialists for traffic, web design etc. Fiverr is a cheaper service, but you can also find people on odesk or elance etc.
Find people with good ratings and educate them or tell them what you want exactly to do for you.

Not sure which one of those is the best... But looks like the Samurai one is OK. But if I were you, I wouldn't be buying any of those products. It will do more harm than good, and I speak from experience!
