Can you make products with just videos?

I want to make more products bur really hate doing ebooks. I would much rather slap together a powerpoint presentation and just talk. Should there be an ebook to accompany the videos? I know videos are higher perceived value but I think some people like to read. Im working on weight loss niche right now...if that makes any difference.

You could, and it would work, but to add more value, you would probably want to have at least an ebook to go along with it....

If you do not like doing ebooks, do what you do best, do a video. Then have someone transcribe it to text, into an ebook. Clean it up and you have got what you personally did not want to do, write and ebook.

It's like making a TV series you don't need any written text to sell.

You will need however a well written sale letter.

book and video is better, some people hate rewinding and it's easy to lose track of where you last watching in the video, just my 2 cents

Doing both isn't too difficult. The text can be simple worksheets or checklists.

    Hi bigballin6161

Yes, it is super boring, that is why a lot of people just outsource eBook, and many times they do not know what they are selling. They will know it after the percentage of refund.

What I will do is, make a videos, it is fun for you. You just type questions and send them to elance or odesk to write books based on them. You have not to read them.

People love bonuses, give them as much outsourced e-books as you could than transcribed videos and make some big package, you will be different, some amazing guy who is genius and can charge far more money than others. Yes and premium price will make you good money.

    Hope it helps.

Of course you can! Many folks are making videos and use powerpoint in their videos and packaging them as products.

Ebook with a video is a great thought it will give a double impression on the customers. Videos alone are good enough and if you hate ebooks just get a sales letter done to accompany your video.

You don't need ebooks really. Many people do prefer to read or I guess Amazon Kindle would be going out of business, but I would say to do what you do best. You don't have to please everyone and people will appreciate that you just focus on making good quality pp presentations instead of hacking together a sub-par ebook to go along with it.

Kajabi is an excellent video training delivery platform - I use it for 4 different video training programs (with more in the works).

There are various levels of subscription but I use the $99 a month one, it looks professional and is pretty easy to operate:

Kajabi | Membership Sites and Landing Pages

If you are hung up on the text, pay someone on Fiverr to transcribe your videos and add that under the videos for subscribers who prefer to read.

Although you don't NEED to write an ebook for it, I strongly suggest it.

It doesn't even have to be a full in depth ebook, just a short report which is an extremely basic copy of your main product, or even just a snippet. The reason to do this is so you can give it away for free, and by doing this get potential buyers VERY interested, and more likely to buy your main product.

That's what I suggest you do anyway.

you don`t need to include an ebook at all

a lot of my products are videos only

i love creating videos because i like explaining the details about how things work and why within my products

ebooks are ok and some prefer learning from ebooks but i have found that most people prefer videos to learn from

You can take the main points from your slides or the slides themselves and turn them into a .pdf. It does not have to get more complicated than that.

Highly recommend Kajabi, and the main difference between the entry level and the next level up, is the ability to krucnh videos you upload into HTML 5 so they can be watched on all mobile devices too (a bit like what youtube does)

As you just said people love videos, but... not all people, there are so many people who prefers at least an extract f the most important issues on "paper".

Because it's really hard to find the exact part of information they need on a bunch of videos instead to search the keyword on the document search tool.

Then is you backend offers that must go in writing with you links on it.

If you hate to write, you can use Dragon Naturally Speaking or get some people to transcribe it on Fiverr.

I'm not telling you to transcribe the entire course, but at least the most important information.

You know.... think about the modalities people like to learn....

    Listen
    Watch
    Read

So you can create the video so they can watch, rip the audios off so they can listen and then get the audios transcribed so they can read.

Aren't they going to listen watch & read with a "video presentation"?

OP: I have products in which a video presentation is at the top of the page
And a bunch of text underneath the video. Looks pretty nice too.

If you make it video only, it's a good idea to say so. Some of us HATE video for anything that can be clearly explained in text.

I read a whole lot faster than you can speak. And the kind of person who wants to do video only is usually not focused enough to explain the process is less than 10 times the period it would take me to read a clear explanation.

If I know in advance, I can decide if it's worth spending an hour to get 6 minutes' worth of information.

There are exceptions, but it's usually just that bad.

PS: I don't jog, and when I'm in the car I'm listening to Chris Ledoux or John Coltrane, not a sales trainer.

Bay-BEE! That's one of my favorites. Along with "Little long-haired outlaw," "Even cowboys like a little bit of rock and roll," "The Ride," and the ever-popular, "Watcha gonna do with a cowboy?"

You just got much cooler, Matt.

              Paul

PS: If you don't have it yet, The "American Cowboy" collection is an excellent addition to any music library. It's the cowboy music equivalent of "Kind of Blue."

:-) hahahahahhaa.... I've got mud on my tires and guns in my truck.. actually heading out to my land I call "God's country" this weekend to check on my plots, deer's been eating our watermelons. We're having a catfish fry at my barn.... so I'm a bit of a redneck myself.

The perfect testament to the idea that you cannot get a feel for a person based on their business image alone.

I have a half-dozen products in the works at the moment. As soon as 3 of those those are finished, I'm getting in the car and heading out. One of the places on my "to see" list is Kaycee, Wyoming. Followed closely by a visit to Chaco Canyon.

The latter is perhaps best explained by my personal logo...

          True.

Maybe because I always picture people just glued to their computer the whole day

Don't forget....That'll also increase the thud factor with the product... making it have a higher perceived value.

    Hey Big!
I have a suggestion for you that I use myself to make around $450 a day, and I've just finished writing an eBook about it!
Basically it involves selling affiliate products from ClickBank by promoting the products with YouTube videos, which has an unlimited, constant flow of views, hops, and sales for me!
The eBook is perfect for beginners with step by step instructions about how I do everything I do to make $450 a day, and the best part is I am giving it away FREE to all Warriors!
The link to the thread with the Free download is in my signature if you are interested.
I hope this helps you out! I wish you all the best for your online income success!
