The best advice I can give you is this:

1.Find a niche
2.Build a list
3. Promote affiliate offers/ sell your own products

There is no magical formula in IM, this is the same routine almost every marketer has used and uses these days.

I have been interested in building a list but how do I go about doing that? I am sorry but I have no knowledge when it comes to email marketing.

You need to find a niche first. Then, offer a short report, video and build a list. Offer something of value and people will give you their email address and join your list. Once they join that list, provide content mostly and then put an affiliate offer in the following email sequence. Some say this works, content, content, content, and then promote affiliate products/ sell your own products.

You want to give your list plenty of content and build a relationship with them. Once that is done, then they will be open to look at the affiliate products you may want to promote.

If you do a search on WF you will find threads covering almost anything that you need to know.

Have a look at this HERE it is a list of some very useful threads, you will definately find some good information there.

I'd be surprised if you have an IM question that hasn't been answered before on the forum.

Spend time just reading. Then get out there and implement what you have learned.

I'll tell you, it was a long road for me before I found out what works and what doesn't. The thing is, I have really come to believe that it works differently for different people.

I think one major key is in finding something you enjoy talking about, but this also needs to be in a market that's in demand. Anything that's in demand will have competition, but that's fine, because there's so many ways to compete that it's amazing.

As far as getting started with a system that requires no investment, I'd say that just about everything out there that's worth doing will at least require an investment of a few dollars.

But one bit of advice that I really want to give you is to plan things out with document files, and try to anticipate all the things that will really be involved in what you're about to do. I've had to scrap so many ideas that I had started only to find out that they were way to complicated for me to pull off.

Thanks, Yeah I know there are many ways to make money online. I used to have good buddy who made quite a bit in a week...I don't know what method he was using though. I am thinking about doing some youtube videos to promote some cpa offer but don't know where to make these videos to post.

You can make videos either using Animoto - Video Slideshow Maker with Music or you can use a powerpoint presentation and use a screen recording software such as Camtasia ( $300) or use Camstudio

A free report would contain something which your target market would find interesting and useful. It also needs to be something which is closely related to the end product which you'll be selling to them. This is one reason why it's important to really know, and be interested in, the niche you're getting into. You'll be able to speak from experience, or at least you'll have a good chance at being able to give great info, because of your passion for the subject.

In order to get their email address, you'll need an opt-in form. You could get someone to design one for you, or you could use a free one, such as Opt-In Crusher, which works with Wordpress pages. You would also need an email service such as Get Response, Aweber, etc. These would integrate with your opt-in form (By the way, just capture their email address, not their name. They'll be more likely to give that to you.)
