Forced social sharing to opt-in?

Hi everyone,

Just a quick one. I've never used forced social sharing on any of my squeeze pages before, but it's something I'm really considering as an experiment now.

For obvious reasons, the potential forced social sharing has is huge, however, i appreciate opt-ins can be lost by people that don't use social sharing, or just simply don't want to share what they're looking at.

Do any of you guys use forced social sharing? If so what kind of results have you achieved?

    I don't like, many because I don't like it in real like.

    But depending on your niche it could be useful. You should give it a test.

    Cheers Greedy. Yeah, i mean, i haven't used it up til now for a reason, but there's just so much potential there it's tempting...

    I think I will run a little test, but I just wanted to hear about other peoples opinions and experiences

    I used to have a pop up on one of my websites it wasn't exactly forced

    "Here at xxxxx we offer you so much free information and all we ask in return is for you to like us on facebook"

    they could x out if they didn't want to but it worked pretty well

    Can't help but think hat's the best way to go about things. Giving the option rather than forcing the matter.

      Yeah and it supports tons of social platforms

      If you're interested I believe the plugin is in beta stages and is still free
