Solo ads? aint them subscribers just rehashed crap?

Aint the email subscribers on huge solo ad lists (the email subs that are on lists of 20,000 lists)

then are they just rehashed, as some of them are given offers every week, as these list owners 'sell' these lists Solo ads of other people?

so the list of 20,000 get loads of ads?

so would they not be as targeted, or be of less quality?

It ultimately comes down to the list. Each list is different.

If they were only given offers every week, they'd be quality leads. They're probably getting offers like 5-10 times a day LOL.

The trick is using good marketing to separate yourself from the pack.

Did this guy really just refer to human beings as "rehashed crap?

Sometimes, folks, it is not appropriate to ignore a headline, even if it's clarified within the content.

I took it as he was using rehashed as a verb, like saying aren't those subscribers just being sent the same crap. But I get your point though

  • If you buying solo ads you have to be unique! Something has to stand out about you! Understand this it's all about marketing. You have to be different where people will want to here from you.

All solo ads aren't created equally. You have to find a good provider. And response will vary from niche to niche.

It really depends on the quality of the lists. Some marketers are just plain annoying to their lists - they treat them like a milking cow - never add any value but just trying to squeeze every penny out of their lists.

Make sure you put a great ads that offers a great value to someone's list and treat them like a real human being.

If a subscriber becomes rehashed, they always have the option to unsubscribe. From my experience, there is a lot of people that enjoy getting multiple offers on a daily basis... maybe that's why 90% of people spend hundreds - thousands of dollars on products but never do anything. You never know how well it works until you test it.

I actually have really good results using solo ads. It all depends on who you get them through & making your offers unique!

this is why it`s important to test solo ads and get a list together

some solo ads perform great and send lots of buyers others are just pure garbage

you just have to test and get yourself a good list together that are proven to work well

    this is what i did

Solo ads work well, just not as well as other paid methods. In saying that though, you can send your offer to a providers "buyer" list providing you a) find reputable providers b) don't use the same providers more than a couple of times (maybe once is enough though) c) you have a very valuable offer and effective sales funnel and d) you test test test.

It IS possible to build a smaller list and make a lot of money provided you think outside the box and stop targeting people with ADD. Find people who already have a lot of money and are looking for new business opportunities online - and who have not been introduced to the millions of different ways to make money on the web.

One of my campaigns targets "plasterers." I am a qualified plasterer myself and have been in that game for over a decade. I can relate to these people and really understand their mindset. I get far less subscribers marketing to these people but the conversions are much higher once I get them into my funnel.

I hear the term "find out what they want and give it to them" been thrown about like it's the absolute gospel on what we should be basing our marketing efforts on. Whilst this is essentially true on most levels - it's not ALWAYS true all of the time. The truth is, there are a lot of people out there who DON'T know what they want. They may want freedom, lifestyle, more cash etc, but really haven't considered making money online. I try to market to these people. I offer them an option they may have not considered yet and I then work to convince them it's entirely possible for anyone to make money online if they follow a proven strategy. I'm sure you can image that these prospects can be very valuable.

As I say though, you will have to work harder for these leads. You will most likely have to pay more because of lower conversion rates on signing up to your list, but the value of each customer is FAR higher than that of a general lead in the MMO market who may clearly have ADD when it comes to choosing a system to follow.

I don't think I need to mention that this strategy is useless if your only goal is to promote anything related to MMO. Giving away a free eBook is not going to be enough either I feel. You must have a deep funnel and a plan to take these subscribers from where they are now, to where you promised them they can be in the future. You must have a system in place that is proven to get results.

It sounds like a lot of hard work, but one lesson I learned that has always stuck with me, is this...

Purchased a 100 guaranteed clicks Soload from a trusted source yesterday afternoon.

Just logged on this morning to see I've had 30 opt-ins so far.

Add still has a while to run.

I personally think Soloads are the best source of good, fast, targeted traffic. Right after Media Buys or PPC.

    IMO.

agreed with spope91. Soloads are still one of best source of good fast targeted traffic. However, each list is different and is up the the provider to be able to segment the list into individual categories.

but of cos there is always some black sheeps sending thrash... eventually this is a business world.. dun expect all having moral and ethics~

      my 2 cents~

With Solo ads it does come down to the Solo ad providor. Some have a better quality list than others. They absolutely work. In one of my businesses we taught Solo ads to our affiliates and our business exploded. We built a subscriber list of over 30,000 people in a 6 month period and solo ads were a major contributor.

The main things you need to focus on are
    1. Your squeeze page and your offer (Free)
    2. Your Self liquidating offer after a subscriber joins your list
    3. Your follow up and relationship building with your subscribers.

  • It depends on who you buy a solo ad from I had great results from some and bad results from others. Make yourself stand out from the other marketers

If you are going to buy solo ads of someone you should read their testimonials and if possible ask someone that has bought from them before. For example, in the comments/feedback section you could PM someone and ask them what they thought of their service. Most people will be honest and warn you if it was not good.
