How to accept Credit Card payments for a Traffic Exchange Site?

Hey guys,

got one of them traffic exchange sites. Already have paypal payment set up, but was wondering how I'll be able to accept CC payments for people with no paypal accounts.

Note plz the site is about traffic and has "downline" elements in it. Hence, the reason 2checkout refused my application. Don't think authorize.net would accept.

Any other alternatives that are a lil more flexible?

        Even if the people don't have Paypal, they can still make methods pay able to you by the site.

        There is an option at the bottom of the screen that lets them continue to the invoice, even if they aren't active members. From there they can pay you by cc.

          You sure they don't need to have paypal in order to use that option and pay via cc? I've heard they should already have a paypal account to use that option.

          EDIT: I assumed you were referring to paying via cc through paypal. If you meant something else, it isn't clear enough for me.

            My understanding is that there were recent changes to Paypal's policy in this area. Under the new policy, if a transaction is cross-border(countries) then the consumer must have a paypal account, even to pay by Credit Card.

            In my discussion with them, they claimed that they did have not encountered consumer resistance to this requirement.

    Can recommend https://cheddargetter.com/ - they do a flat fee which I really like. You simply need to do the math to ensure that it works out better, both in terms of product and fees than PayPal.

    As soon as PayPal notice anything that looks like "downline elements" (and their understanding of "downline elements" is typically far broader than anyone else's: they think lots of things are MLM that aren't really at all!), they may suddenly say "Goodbye" to you. Be very careful, and have a back-up in place!

    My impression is very much that, on this point, few people are less flexible than PayPal.

      This is one of my main concerns. Even paypal isn't safe.

      However, I've found a lot of webmasters (and members here) owning traffic sites very similar to mine (run with the same script) and using paypal for them. For years.

      I wonder what the trick is.
