Finding sites that write good articles

I know iwriter and fivver is a site where people can write articles for a few bucks. I was wondering what other places would people recommend checking out. I don't want to have a writer all the time I just want a few articles written for my blog since I found out writing takes a lot of time for me lol.

Well, it really depends on your budget. If you are looking for $3 articles, you will find the quality to be the same no matter what website you choose to look for the writer in. But, here are some great places you can check out: the warriors for hire section right here, or constant content.

If you're just looking for "filler" stick with the sites you mentioned in your OP.

Don't be surprised when the site tanks though .

      Hello,

May I know what kind of article were you writing? I am an article writer, and have several clients from here. May I offer my services?

      Thanks

I was doing the math in my head because I have a budget but yeah I guess I'll put out some money for the articles. I think the problem with me is that Im trying to be cheap but good content actually costs money so I guess the search is on for some good content.

For good content, you need good writers. I am a writer and, as has already been suggested, you can look in the warriors for hire section. But you need to know your budget because it is not worth paying a low amount to try and save money and end up with low quality work because that will only do more harm than good.

You can also check out sites such as vworker if you want to find someone who "might be good" for a lower price...but you have to be careful who you choose in those sites.

I would second the suggestion of looking in the Warriors for Hire section of the forum. As I always say... place a small order at first to see if the writer does the following:

Has the tone and style you want,
    listens to your directions,
does the proper research, (hopefully, not all of it online from one article)
and writes in a way that won't bore the ever lovin' daylights out of your readers.

Have you thought about using PLR?

You could buy prewritten articles (usually at about $1 per article) in your niche and rewrite/ tweak them and put them on your blog.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[6952858].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author Jason Pollard
I didn't think about using PLR for my blogs then writing it in a different way. I'll do that when I get some content first. Right now I need enough content for me to start putting my blog out there for others to see.

iWriter is mostly foreigners and people who are seriously hard up for cash. The Elite Status isn't bad and I do love how Brad's company takes care of the fee when sending payment.

Fiverr - I really wish I understood why people are so obsessed with this place.

Quality though? You'll have to pay quality pricing. I talked to a corporate writer recently who laughed at me when I quoted him $5 per 100 words for his company. He said "the quality must be super poor if you're writing for that low of a price."

    WHAT?!

Now, I'm sure we have our different definitions of what quality is and everyone has different requirements for their content, but if you want quality content, you'll have to pay a quality price.

Hi, thanks for the kind words about iWriter! :-)

Regarding that iWriter is mostly foreign writers, that's actually not the case. We do have many foreign writers, but the highest amount of writers, overall, are from the US. We keep track of these stats in our admin area. We have roughly 80,000 writers and growing fast.

If anyone has any questions about iWriter, I'm more than happy to help. Thanks for your interest in our service!

And if anyone has need for articles (non PLR but are unique), I have some that you might be interested in. They are without grammatical errors, properly formatted, and the content is relevant.

And yes, many people who write well can be hard up on cash sometimes, but there is nothing wrong in offering your services for less, right? In the end, it's the cost of living against income.

I am a native English speaker living in the Philippines as an expat, so the cost of living is waaaaaaayyyyyyy below the standards back home. So I'm pretty ok with lower rates.

Aside from websites offering article writing service, you can also check the "warriors for hire
" section here, where you can check out a lot of warriors offering article writing service. ;-)

iWriter and Fiverr has a LOT of writers that speak broken English, which is why they're writing for so cheap. Don't get me wrong not all of them are like that, but there's a whole load of them that are.

I think the extra few dollars you pay an article elsewhere, will end up making you more money because you'll get lots of sales/conversions.

I'm just curious to know why you want to find "sites" for good articles as opposed to finding "writers" that create what you call "good" articles?

Do you feel that because it's from a "site", you'll get better writers?

If that's your reasoning, I'd recommend that you change your line of thinking because quite frankly, most talented writers with outstanding writing skills avoid those "sites" like the plague.

Textbroker has some decent level 4 writers. If you don't mind editing, you can make do with their level 3 writers and save some money.

The warriors for hire section has some great article writing services. Some are cheap, and some are far more "top shelf". That being said, you'll be able to find a service that suits your tastes and budget.

I know you're already aware of iWriter, but I've been using that site lately and just sucking it up and bidding a little higher, resulting in some pretty decent articles.

I'd advise against getting cheap "filler" content -- sounds like a good idea now, but yeah, in 3 months those dollars saved may end up costing you a lot of profits thanks to a drop in rankings...

EXACTLY. Low-quality content can bring on the WRATH of Google Panda.

hmmm... I think this is going to lead to some confusion.

Low quality, filler content = spun garbage.

Low quality, filler content does not equal articles you would get from article writing websites mentioned in this thread, UNLESS they're "spun garbage".
