Best way to get good affilaites?

Is abestweb the best to find affiliates that will bring you lots of sales/traffic?

What are some other places to find good affiliates for my product. My sales page is bringing in a steady 3% conversion rate for targeted traffic, i.e. people interested in art courses.

I have one of my courses on clickbank right now.

Not sure if they would be "good affiliates" - BUT you could try adding an affiliate contest to increase interest.

For example, maybe a cash prize to the top-selling affiliate at the end of a 30 day period - or a new laptop, iPad, etc.

Just something to give the top affiliate(s) as a bonus on top of their commissions.

Are there sites to advertise your affiliate product and find affiliates?

abestweb sort of lets you do that on their forums.

I'm sure there are thousands, but I don't personally know of any that I'd use for anything in the art niche. I'm sure someone else can answer that one tho.

You could add your product to affiliate networks like JVZOO, RapBank, or Paydotcom. Also, you can find marketers with a decent size list and ask them if they would be willing to promote for a 50% commission.

One way is to filter them.

Require that they BUY your product first, before they can promote it.

99.9% of ALL affiliates want to promote something, but do not want to pay for it....

It's bad business for the vendor.

You will get much better affiliates if they have to pay for it first, at least that way, when they promote it they have at least a chance to be honest in their review of recommendation of your product.

Does it mean that they will look it over first after purchase? Nope, but they surely won't if they do not buy it first.

Create an affiliate sign up page and submit them to the affiliate directories. Also join Clickbank and Paydotcom.
