What to do with ALL My 100 Websites?

If I where you I would take somewhere between 1-20 that is best of your website and focus on them. Add article, link and so one.

Rest of the website I would offer for sale here @ warrior forum

I´m sure 1-20 website that you have power to keep going will give you more value then 100 dead website

With the new Panda/Penguin updates it is no longer profitable to have many small websites. Instead, keep a number that you can constantly update and turn into big, authority websites. As mentioned above, keep the ones that are performing the best (high ratings, high PR, aged domains, most articles, etc.)

It's definitely still profitable to have small websites, you just have to factor in the headache of managing so many.

Do you consider flipping them? Just calculate the ROI to see if it's worthwhile...

Yep it's too much for one person to cope with. I have had the same problem, I had to let some go, I just haven't got enough time to attend to too many sites. Like you I have also been hit and lost most of my income.

It's time to cut away and stay focused on the sites that have the most potential, you have to start thinking about building a community around some of your sites, that’s the future I think, you need visitors to create the content for you.

You'll need to check which ones get more visitors and keep those ones. The other ones that have low amounts of visitors can be moved along/sold.

If you have some money you can spare (or use the money you get from the ones you sell), you can outsource some of the work to others to update your sites so that they can start bringing in more money.

Don't forget that Flippa has fees. If you don't sell your sites (which is extremely likely on sites that aren't earning) you'll just be losing even more money. If you do sell on Flippa, think of an angle. I see networks of garbage sites that sell all in one auction. Maybe you can offer a service like a bunch of articles written for your network of sites to the buyer to increase the perceived value.

Sell the rest of the sites as a package and just focus on the biggest money making ones.

I would definitely pick a handful of sites that you are very enthusiastic about and can keep updated regularly and sell the rests. Have you tried Flippa.com?

If you can manage to focus on 5 to 10, put content, have some traffic and sell them to Flippa, you can do the same with the rest once you have budget from selling the first batch.

As you have mentioned you have lost interest on your domains. I suggest you to sale those websites. But not now (because they will hardly make anything now).

Work on your sites which you decide to sale for say 1 month. After you get enough traffic and some revenue (expected) you sale them. That would be an wise decision.

Sell them in bulk. If you're not making money from it, you can't sell each for more than $50 and selling it in Flippa isn't a good idea since you don't want to spend more than what you'll earn by just listing your site for sale. Sell them directly to people and you can start from here.

I'd suggest you flip those domains for sale at Flippa. Who knows you have a winner that can cover all operating cost?

If I have this 100 domain then I would prefer working with 10 or 15 and others I would sell to flippa.

concentrate on as many as you can handle. there's no sense in spreading your time around on websites you cant keep up with, when you can devote it to just a handful

I suggest focusing on a few with the highest PR, and that are the easiest for you to write articles for, and sell the rest on Flippa.com

I would focus on only 10 of them.The ones that used to make money in the past and the ones that really interest me.If you own a domain and a blog installed about e.g. kitchens and you are not inspired to write about it, you will never be.

So, keep 10 out of 100 and REALLY focus on them.

-Do some SEO work
-Write one post per day/2 days
-Social bookmarking
-Maybe some paid advertisment
-Build lists

The other 90 you could always sell them and make some money to fund the promotion of the other 10 you will keep.

If you don't make any money I would try to sell them. Try for example the GoDaddy Premium Listings.

Remember one thing, one life, one love and one business idea(website). Focus on one website not on 100 websites. If you want to do domain buying and selling you should have seen the potential benefits.

Right now, You can sell your websites or do auto blogging.

I would recommend that you filter out all the sites on topic that your not interested anymore and focus on those you really are.

Don't go to Flippa like some of the people here said above, you will not succeed selling your websites. That is because you have no income from those website. If you have a website with a killer name then maybe you can sell the name.

IMHO, you should write up a little bit of everything in each niche blogs (since you do already write articles/reviews for those blogs, it shouldn't that hard), to set everything up. And hopefully flip 80% of them.

What I'd do if I were you, is focus on 20% of them, master the skills and make them AWESOME!

The rules of the game (at least via google) have changed. You can still get traffic, you just need to do it differently.

You could personally learn how to use tools like SENuke, magicsubmit, sick submitter, etc. Or, as others have suggested, sell the domains in bulk and move on.

You can go to flippa to try to sell some of your sites. Maybe you get success because with bidding sites like flippa you never know (begin as little as $10). Keep only those which have some good traffic and conversions.

hi, I did write earlier that selling them is not an option at the moment. I have also had pms from people wanted to check them out and maybe buy them but again that does not interest me right now.

What I'm going to do is get some content writers posting articles through myblogguest.com and see how that goes for now....

Keep only those website that are giving you more income and release all those whom you think are of no use...Best of Luck!

I wouldn't recommend that you sell all the sites.

Keep those on which you still have interest and work on them and sell the rest. This will help you raise capital for the things at had .

I think J was a little harsh but basically I agree with his perspective.

Do NOT listen to people who tell you having many sites is some sort of liability and that Google somehow doesn't like small sites - that's BS.

Also the comments about 100 sites being "too many for one person to handle" - also BS.

I have a lot more than that and they require very little effort to manage.

What you need to do is get yourself setup with a system of looking after them effectively.

i.e

A central way to edit/update them and add content. This can be done in many ways.

A decent research process that lets you know what keywords to target to increase your traffic when you create content.

A decent process for outsourcing content creation - I'm sure you know the options here.

or structuring content quickly and effectively if creating it yourself. Now this part is up for debate about how you do it, but setting up Google alerts and having some niche/news sites you check for ideas is usually a good place to start.
Create yourself an article template that outlines a good article layout and focus so that you can just plug your content into your template and know you've covered the bases when creating new content. (i.e make a page and put, Intro, Key Points, Summary, Bio - and use it for all new content while considering the keywords/phrases you're targeting)

Make sure you have a clear call to action on each site and that if you're collecting email addresses you have a solid follow up process they go through which contains a way for you to make money (i.e affiliate product promotions etc.).

You could even hire an assistant who looks after the sites for you, or find some writers who are struggling and partner with them to share the revenue from a site if they add regular content.

The point is - it is perfectly possible to manage all your sites and build them all up to where they're making money - the problem is NOT the number of sites, it's your ability to create a solid process for managing them and I think you should focus on that because without a solid approach you're gonna struggle even if you only keep 10 of them.

Make yourself a spreadsheet of what domains you have, when they were last updated, what revenue they've generated, what else you can add to them etc..

peoples like you block lot of domains and not using the same by simply parking them or make that remain unused!

Try to surrender the unwanted domains and use which ever u can manage or else sell those in godaddy

Managing 100 websites are way too much to handle for most of us. Sell most of them in a package and focus on the remaining 5-10 ones that you think you could use. Flippa maybe the one to consider but their charging fees are relatively high.

On the other hand, if you like to continue managing them, be sure to have a clear direction on what to do with each and everyone of them and hire a VA to help you as well.
