    I am very successful as an Amazon Associate. Your best bet is to stay with niches/products that you are familiar with and avoid the popular products as they can be very difficult to rank for.

      Totally agree with this, find a specific niche, and an easy to rank keyword based on that niche. Works Great

    I used to earn over $1000 a month before Penguin. Now only about $250/month. Don't rely on SEO if you intend to become an Amazon associate. You need to think more strategically, expand to other traffic sources like video, PPC and article marketing.

    Make a blog and buy a domain related to that product and then promote it there. You will get sales. I did this for kindle fire.
