    This can be monetized with a large variety of options.
    Just make sure you put up some quality downloads.

    I think you don't have to go with a specific niche, just break everything down into categories. Use popular niches that people are actually looking for.

    Agree with CalinDan..The name sounds exact to what he suggested. I don't know if it's possible but people seem to gravitate on movies, music and books. Go for it.

      I suggest you purchase a domain name which is more closely related to where your strengths lie, and not try to force a fit where there is none.

      This of course is assuming:

      a) You have a strength

      b) A 'downloads' site is of no interest to you
