Autoresponder - sorry I didn't post full details before

Hi,

I asked this before, but I didn't have all the details straight.

I want to set up with an autoresponder that can do what I want to do, so I want to check, with the right details (which are in this post).

I'd like to know if I can do the following things with mailchimp, or whether aweber would be better. There's a free plan with mailchimp so I might go with that if it does the trick...

1. I want people to be able to sign up to a list on my website and at the same time, download an ebook.

(The ebook is one I wrote myself - it's not an affiliate product.)

2. I want to give two options: free ebook or pay-for ebook. (The free version will be the first few chapters of the same book.)

3. When people join the list, I want them to receive a series of autoresponders.

4. People who downloaded the free ebook: I want them to be able to later choose to get the pay-for ebook.

5. When people who first got the free ebook choose to get the pay-for version, I don't want their autoresponder emails to rewind to email-number-1 -- I want them to continue in the series.

6. If possible, I want to send a slightly different version of the autoresponder emails out to people who didn't get the pay-for ebook versus those that did. (I'd like to include a couple of sentences about the full ebook in the emails to those that didn't get the pay-for version.)

7. After I've set this up, I'll also set up a separate password-protected url where some people can get the full ebook for free. If possible, I'd like to make it so I can identify these people to exclude them from an individual bulk email I might send; or to send an individual bulk email only to these people.

So can mailchimp do this? Or would aweber be a better option for it?

Thanks.
