You need to contact either the provider of the IP address in question or the blacklist company itself. (by blacklist company I mean who runs the blacklist)

Ok, I would suggest that you contact your web host. It's a little more complicated as you'll need to provide an explanation. The IP provider would be the datacenter who provided the IP block.

Okay..so when contacting the IP provider..just ask them to be removed? Or if i contact the web host...ask them to be removed and provide a explanation why i need to be removed?

Which one is the easiest & fastest to get handled? and what should the explanation be? I work with alot of local businesses and i dont know how they would have got blacklisted..so i dont know what explanation to give them..lol..sorry if the questions im asking are crazy..just never delt with this before and i really want to help my client.

      No problem..

You'll need to contact your web host first and tell them the IP is on a blacklist. Are you getting some sort of mail bouncebacks or something? If you're not, I personally wouldn't worry about it.

If you're continuing to have blacklist issues with your current web host, I'd suggest moving to a new host that has clean IP blocks.

Okay...the things is, i was thinking about turning this into some type of service and charge businesses a fee to get there domain un-listed. I used that website i spoke on earlier to check a couple of business owners in my local area to see if there domains were blacklisted and they were..and i just checked some random businesses and they too were also blacklisted by 1 or 2 blacklist companies...and these are small business owners like dentist, plumbers..etc. So i was wondering how to go about getting domains removed, so maybe i could turn this into some type of business. And maybe i could do it myself or outsource the work!!

Here's a link to information that tells you what to do if it's listed in these spam databases, but I imagine that if it's blacklisted for spam, it's not going to be easy to remove
