Unless you're a currency printing press.

You earn money by adding sufficient value.

That's capitalism.

Why do so many people online talk about earning money as if they'll 'make' it appear as if by magic?

you earn money by making peoples life easier, better, happier

just gotta find out what makes them happy,better etc. and give it to them in exchange of $$$

  I was one of those people who thought you could make money pretty quickly online and I never thought about the work involved. Now that I'm actually working on my projects, WOW there isn't enough time in the day. Even when I'm not working on my website or blog, I'm thinking about it 24/7 and I can't stop. It can't be healthy! Anyways, yes you definitely earn your money in this business.

  Probably. Still, words are incredibly powerful so it pays to be precise.
  
  I just noticed how often that phrase 'make money online' gets bandied about and I think it really does promote the idea that the internet is a magical place where hard work isn't needed and providing value unnecessary.
  
  The companies that really earn big bucks online do so because they add a ton of value to people's lives. There's got to be a lesson in there somewhere for all of us

I was very young when I first heard about Internet Marketing. I've started reading blogs about earning money etc. Now, when I see a blog when someone teach how to earn money online, i'm starting to laugh... People who earn the most in the Internet (7 figures) are silent and you will never heard about them and their methods. That's what I learn after 3 years.

When someone calling himself Internet Marketer, do you also think he is a lazy man who is selling bullshit to people?

Luckily I watched the movie Wall Street before I saw "the Secret".

Wall Street taught me to stop walking around blind without a cane, that all that really matters is the bucks. So where does it all end? How many yachts can you water ski behind? How much is enough? But it's not a question of enough, it's a zero sum game, somebody wins, somebody loses. Money itself isn't lost or made, it's simply transferred, but don't feel bad, a fool and his money were lucky enough to have gotten together in the first place.

People talk about "make"-ing it appear by magic because that's what they want, they don't want to earn anything, they just want a bag of $10k bundles to appear on their doorstep, and all they have to do is crack their door open and drag it inside.
