Iphone users-How do you deal with website passwords?

I use long high security passwords on my accounts. On my pc I use Roboform that remembers the passwords and logs me into my accounts. However it doesn't work with Safari broswer so I can't use it on Iphones. I found another program that does but it doesn't work with windows so I can't use it to synch my passwords on my pc to my iphone.

Since you can't copy and paste with an iphone how do you use long passwords with your Iphone?

Thanks,

Ron

Thanks that looks like a possibility but has problems.

For example posts complaining that when an update was downloaded all their passwords
were deleted and no way to back it up before hand.

The joys of owning an iphone :-(

I still have a week left before my 30 days are up but seriously wondering
if I should keep the phone.

ronr, are you serious? I'd never leave my iPhone. Shorten your passwords maybe? What things are you accessing that you need so many passwords? I've used my iPhone for a year now and have not yet once needed copy/paste. Maybe don't login to sites you don't need to or something. I don't know. I just can't fathom the idea of giving up my iPhone !

well at least you would only have to retype your passwords every update versus everytime you login to your accounts. I know your frustrated, but would you really want to give up the iphone ? Whats the alternative ? go to another pda phone that uses windows mobile ? yikes. You will be quickly reminded of all the hassle of windows and you will be begging for your iphone back just so you only have one hassle.

yes I understand what you are saying. Before I got the iphone I didn't even try to login to any of my sites, but I would never shorten my passwords and make them more unsecure.

I like the iphone but battery hardly makes it through day with light use, my 3G reception is bad even though I'm supposed to be in a strong reception area and things like not being able to forward email, no cut and paste or MMS is pretty basic stuff that I thought the iphone had.

Just thinking about whether to return the phone until some of things get addressed in the future.

The battery and 3G issues plague all of us, unfortunately. My advice is to turn off 3G unless you are actually using it somewhere away from a WiFi connection. This solves quite a few issues.

I know Apple is working on a firmware update to help with some of this, and hopefully that will be sooner than later. If they can't fix it, I trust that Apple will find a way to make it right. They always do.

Regarding passwords, you can install 1Password (I think they have solved the issue you mentioned) or Memengo Wallet.

            Good luck!
