What's your conversion rate in Twitter?

Not Understood your point. Never check conversion rate in Twitter.

Twitter can bring lots of traffic but the conversion rate is really really low. SEO have highest conversion rate so I prefer SEO.

I get a steady 12% conversion to subscribers
from month to month on Twitter.

I'm only following just under 100 people and
have 403 followers. It only brings me a handful
of new subs weekly, but they are very targeted.

It's really about connecting with others, posting
relevant information in your niche, keeping self
promotion to a minimum (about 20% of Tweets
should be self serving) and being awesome.

It works differently for different industries and it's
easier to gain followers in non IM niches.

For example, I was running a comedy style vlog
on YouTube and was able to gain almost 50
followers a week who always clicked through.

You get out what you put in, but its about the
connections you make more than anything.

My best advice is to just run some solo ads.

I wouldn't personally follow you. You seem like
a robot and aren't really adding any value.

I'm not attacking your methods, as you have about
12k followers more than I do so something you're doing
is working. This has all been just advice!

SEO game is constantly changing because Google decides whatever they want to do.

You're right about my method. I will change it up.

It's going to be tough to get that personal feel back, but it CAN be done!

Also, I'm surprised you're not using a Facebook page... you can get a nice viral effect, much better than a profile. Again, just my opinion. I don't know as much about Facebook though, but I'm sure the same social rules apply.

What are you using to track conversion rates?

I used to use Bitly and other link shorteners.. had high amounts of traffic from Twitter but no conversions.

The person who got me really going on Twitter actually only makes about 2 or 3 selling offers a year.

The rest of the time, he just helps people.

He actually closed all his other businesses because he was making more than $150K just on twitter after 6 months.

He helped me so much, I actually asked him to allow me to pay him something and he would always refuse. Months later, when he finally posted something for sale, I purchased it without even knowing what it was just to pay him back for all the help he gave me. I've since purchased anything he has ever sold and he still helps me when I ask him.

So I decided to follow his example.

Mostly, all I do is help, help, help people on twitter.

95% helping posts and then only about 5% posts where I promote anything.

I have had the same thing happen to me. I get messages now from people offering to pay me for all the help and I always so no.

When I do finally post something for sale, they buy.

I've made money on twitter but I never had a need to check conversion rate. I only promote a link to my website or my facebook page once every three or four tweets and I only tweet twice a day on average. Most of my tweets consist of news articles and motivating quotes.

I play amazon with Twitter and Twitterfeed / dlvrit. but the conversion is not good.
