You have to do your due diligence when buying any IM products from Clickbank. One of the best ways is to speak to people on forums like this about their experiences. I have purchased 2 IM products from Clickbank from recommendations and they are probably the two best products that I own.

    Regards

Thanks Kim, could you please tell me what are the names of these products? And do you still use them?

I don't take marketing advice from random people with ebooks on clickbank. Why would I spend $40 on some infoproduct when I can walk into any bookstore and get a 10-year bestselling classic from an expert for 1/4 the price? The principles of marketing don't change very much. They're rooted in good product/market fit and consumer psychology.

As for the technology aspects, and applications of existing principles to new distribution channels, you can learn more from blogs and case studies online than most infoproducts. Who are you going to listen to, the guy selling $20 ebooks for a living, or the company that takes $30000 contracts to increase its clients' traffic and conversion rates?

Some of them are good as like bring the fresh and market samurai. But I do believe that you can discover those techniques and secrets that they are talking about by working hard and smart.
    Good Luck.

Maybe it's because your marketing strategies are bad. Clickbank products are getting sold by the masses everyday.

Maybe you're thinking only/mostly of the absolutely tiny minority of ClickBank products that are to do with internet marketing, then, if you're comparing them with WSO's?

There are over 15,000 products for sale at ClickBank, in about 299 other niches, apart from those, you know?

ClickBank is a retailer, not a manufacturer. Asking whether people "believe in ClickBank products" is perhaps a little like asking if people believe in "Nieman Marcus products", "Bloomingdale's products" or whatever: all they really have in common, collectively, is that that's a retail outlet at which they happen to be for sale.

I make my living as a ClickBank affiliate, promoting 25 - 30 different, outstandingly good ClickBank products (but nothing that compares with WSO's at all, because - like so many full-time affiliate marketers - I have absolutely no involvement in "IM niches" at all).

Hi Randall, no doubts they are sold, but the question is: are they useful to make money online? @Charles I agree, market samurai is a very nice product, I didn't remember it is on cb.

I don't think all the ones about arts and entertainment, cooking, food, wine, education, writing, reading, languages, music, games, green products, health (huge markets, there!), fitness, home and garden, parenting and families, culture and society, politics, current affairs, spirituality and religion, sports and travel, and all their hundreds of sub-niches are; no.

Then again, why would they be?

This is a very strange question...

Believing in Clickbank products? Clickbank is essentially a payment processor. Why would a payment processor be any reflection of the product being sold.

In fact, I've seen a ton of WSOs that actually use Clickbank as their payment processor. So there are, in fact, some WSOs that are also Clickbank products.

Sure there's a ton of crap Clickbank info products out there... There's also a ton of crap WSOs (quickly catching up to Clickbank actually).

I sell hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of Clickbank products each year... Most of them ARE NOT info products. Well respected software developers even use Clickbank as their processor... Easy Video Player, Popup Domination, Optin Skin, etc... All Clickbank products.

There's crap marketers and crap products. Clickbank is just a tool for marketers to collect payments.

    Hi ComicWarrior,

There is nothing to believe I think. These are just products, same stuff you can get here.

I mean, sales letter is designed to convince you to buy their stuff. And they know that most of us is after easy life and fast money. That's why they are using hype and bold claims.

That's the way it is, it works.

Product might be actually good, but another and more important thing is, what we are going to do with information provided?

Sales letter tells you what you WANT to hear, and the product gives you what you NEED (if is good!). And our WANTS and NEEDS are different creatures...

The best practice is to stay "calm" while reading sales message. No matter what product I'm buying, my BS detector is always at its peak sensitivity (actually right now I just don't believe in any sales massage).

Really, it's better to assume right away that product is pure crap (especially in IM niche) and that sales letter is just bunch of BS.

Then after purchase, let's evaluate the product and decide, is it any good or just worthless piece of crap (which calls for immediate refund).

Anyway, that's the way I do "shopping" ;D But I think that majority of the products, especially WSOs, are actually good resources.

The biggest problem is lack of proper after-sale support which could minimize this dissonance resulting from differences between our WANTS and NEEDS.

No sane marketer is going to tell us that we have to learn 3 months, then practice another 6 months to make $500/M. Because if he did, no one would buy from him. That's why bold claims and all that hype in sales letters.

And more often that not, product itself will require us to actually learn and work on things much longer than stated in sales message. Now, good marketer will make everything to keep us on track and to make this process as easy as possible so we can actually get some results.

On the other hand, bad marketer (the guy who thinks just about his wallet) doesn't give a shit about our results. He made a sale and that's all what he is interested in.

And that's the biggest problem for newbies.

There has only been one CB product that I have not asked for a refund due to the product being pure hype.

That was Bring The Fresh. Of course, I strictly buy the biz op products. I'm not saying that all CB products are junk. But I have seen several where I paid and the product did not exist...guess what? It still remained listed after I reported the vendor to CB.

Before you go and make clickbank products you should work for a while as an affiliate so you know exactly how to market them.

    Then create an awesome product.

    CLICKBANK = CRAP

Why 90% of people on this forum think that Clickbank and Adsense are the best money sources? Instead they should be creating their own quality info products, they could make 100x more.

Most clickbank products are overpriced. I remembered I had lost thousands there on internet marketing products when I started business online. Many products I had bought were priced at $97 USD. That's very insane!

I don't believe there is a better online payment processor than Clickbank. What has not been mentioned here is Clickbanks's unconditional 60-day money back guarantee for all products in the marketplace.

Affiliates who conspicuously explain this Clickbank policy in their marketing will not only see a dramatic increase in conversion rates, but will also help to drive out deadbeat vendors.

Many of the products are junk, but there are plenty that are of value. Take the time to look through the site, and find a product with a good sales page and a medium-high gravity. Hope I helped!

Fact is, there is sadly a lot of people in this industry that does sell trash, but there are a heck of a lot that sell pure quality products and to tar everybody with the same brush is absolutely wrong. There's good and bad EVERYWHERE.

Not all of them are great and not all of them are bad. See the reviews for the product and then decide if you want to by or not. If you bought the product and it did not live up to its promise, then you have the option to get a refund.

If you go anywhere to purchase anything, be it digital or physical and you buy something without fully understanding what it is you are getting, then the blame falls squarely on your shoulders.
Click Bank does not sell the products its affiliates who sell the products on Click Bank.

Can't make a blanket judgement about every product in a particular marketplace! As anywhere, including WSO's, there are some good ones, and some not worth a cent.

As an affiliate marketer ClickBank is not one of my favorites. There are too many trash products there, and the ones that are really good are difficult to promote due to a high competition.

As a buyer I never considered ClickBank as the "place to go" when looking for something in particular. If I find a product I'm interested in buying it makes no difference to me if it's sold via ClickBank or not.

When you can going to buy a clickbank product you really just have to do your research. To be VERY honest, a lot of them are not worth the money.

But also remember all of them are not eBooks. Some are actually pieces of software that come in handy. For example, last time I checked Traffic Travis is a clickbank product and MANY internet marketers are using that till this day.

So yeah, it really depends on what you are out shopping for.

I have purchased a few of them, some are actually quite good.

I have purchased BFFM, Turbulence Training

But these products I found didn't convert to well when I tried to promote them.

Anyway I would say looking through the CB products that the vast majority are a waste of money, you can buy much better products from Amazon in used condition for far less money, plus you can resell them again afterwards.

Clickbank provides a huge affiliate market to its sellers, that's why it is so widely used by sellers across niches. As far as quality of product is concerned, you have to do your own research.

You can buy plugins or applications which are well established and have a track record. So it's your purchase decision and it is your responsibility to take it wisely.

Any marketplace is subject to selling products that may not be of the best quality, the problem with the business model that clickbank uses is that it depends on many products being marketed without that volume the business that is click bank would not make nearly the amount of money they do make, what this really means is that should clickbank ever become "self aware" they would have to change the way they are choosing to do business.

This is why other markets are enjoying more popularity right now it is simply a matter of time before bank ends up being buried in requests for refunds.
