Well, usually, your squeeze page will be on a domain. For example, let's use How To Make Money Online <--- that's where my imaginary squeeze page will be.

    - You can promote a squeeze page via SEO if you wanted to, but it wouldn't be as easy as promoting a blog via SEO and I don't really like SEO traffic for my squeeze pages.

    - You can promote a squeeze page via social media, facebook, twitter, instagram, tumblr, etc.

-You can promote a squeeze page through article marketing. Typing a very informative article and posting it to the top article directories (there's a lot more to article marketing than this, but it's just an example).

    - You can promote a squeeze page via PPC using adwords, if you have the funds.

    - You can promote a squeeze page via Ad Swaps. This is finding someone else with a list in the same niche as you, and basically he sends out the link to your squeeze page to his subscribers, while you do the same for him (works best when you have 200+ subscribers).

    - You can promote a squeeze page via Solo Ads. This is paying someone else with a list in the same niche as you to promote your squeeze page to his list.

    - You can do forum marketing, which would be putting the link to your squeeze page in your signature and posting valuable and helpful information around the forum.

    - You can do PPV (Pay Per View), I'm not too experienced in this because I much prefer PPC as the paid method of choice for list building. Overall though, I prefer free methods of list building. I feel like that gets the most genuine subscribers.

Some ways that people can land on, or find your squeeze page would be posting your squeeze page on your blog. Then you can promote your blog, through commenting on other people's blogs or one of the methods above and people can find it that way. Otherwise, it'll always be found through promotion. People don't just stumble upon a squeeze page.

As you can see above. There are TONS of ways to promote your squeeze page! It's endless, just be creative. I only went over a few compared to all of the different ways out there.

    Hope I helped,

There are so many ways to get traffic. Here are some of my favorites:
    • Solo ads: very quick & targeted
    • PPC: also quick & effective
    • Article marketing: slower & more time consuming, but FREE!!
    • Facebook/Twitter: This is also a great way to also add value & connect with your target audience!

This is just a quick list from the top of my head. I hope it helps!

While it may be slower, it's one of my personal favorite ways to get genuine subscribers to your list. You also don't have to pay tons for a couple hundred subscribers, and the good thing about article marketing is that it has a snowball effect. Kind of like creating a youtube video every day (forgot to mention Video Marketing in my post above). Eventually, you'll have hundreds of videos bringing your traffic daily.

Also, it's easy to connect with the people that are going to opt-in to your list even before they do it with Article Marketing and that tends to have an effect on how much they trust you. You can also set expectations and kind of "pitch the benefits" of your list towards the end of the article.

It may be one of the slowest (only because it's free) but it's my favorite method by far for the reasons stated above.

          No problem Nicole!

I suggest you read this post really quick, the single post: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5068872

And now to answer your second question, I don't have a favorite, I post the article on as many directories as I feel necessary.

But, if you're not sure which directories exist, check this thread out. There's TONS of recommendations on here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-articles.html

Media buy's. With media buy's you can get tons of super high targeted traffic for cheap to your squeeze pages. I have bought some ad's on sites with 20,000 impressions a day for under $300 a month.

  • JaVaun, I was trying to thank you for post #2 but I can't find the thank you button. That was a great list.

Can you guys expand a bit on YouTube? How does that work, you just make a video talking about what you're offering, then tell them to follow through to your squeeze page to find out more? But wouldn't you have to promote the YouTube video itself somehow? Surely you don't just upload it and hope someone will see it.

Bottom right corner of the post. Right by the "Quote" button

Well, no, not quite. Let's say for example, my niche is Make Money Online, for lack of a better idea right now. Let's think about people's problems in that niche, what do those people want? Simple, they want to make money online!

So what we're going to do is show them how... Not all the way though. Example: I would make a video of a powerpoint going into what list building is, and how you can make money from it. At the end of the powerpoint would be a slide that says "To Learn More CHECK THE DESCRIPTION!"

or "Do You Want To Start Making Money Online? CHECK THE DESCRIPTION!"

In the description will be instructions for opting in to your list. For ex:
      --------
Want To Start Making Money Online?

Step 1. Click the link below

      www.***********.com

All of the information you'll ever need is on that website!

      Enjoy!
      ---------
On your squeeze page you will quickly and briefly explain what they will get by opting in to your list. Basically, the benefits.

So you'll give these people good information, but just leave them hanging a bit so that they have a reason to opt-in to your list. When they opt-in, send them the rest of the information.

This is just ONE method of HUNDREDS for ideas of youtube videos to get people to your squeeze page. What I've learned about YouTube is that it's all about creativity. There are so many ways to get people from your YouTube video to your squeeze page that it's not even funny. I could give you about 5 right now if I had the time.

How about this, PM me if you have any questions, need any more help, or need any ideas and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. This is also really effective because you can get the Videos ranked. A friend of mine can show you how to rank your own videos, or he can do it for you. Ranking the video means that it will be on the first page of youtube for that search term.

      Hope this helped,

  • Great answer, JaVaun. Thing is, how do you make people see the YouTube video itself? Wouldn't it just collect dust on YouTube's servers unless you had a way to make prospects actually see it?

The "thank you" button stopped eluding me, by the way.

He doesn't do this for free, but it's a very small cost compared to other video ranking services. And I feel obligated to include that I don't get any type of affiliate commission or anything like that from my friend for referring people to him. I just feel like he has a quality service for a low price and recommend it when necessary. Also, even if you don't rank a video it's still effective and people still see it somehow. Even if only 10 people per day see the video, you can easily make 1 video per day, and in 10 days, you have 10 videos all getting 10 viewers per day. So now you have 100 viewers per day, every day until one of the videos start to die out. But by that time, you'll have more videos up so no worries

Only problem is that hypothetical scenario seldom occurs in practice. There's pretty much no chance of getting 10 daily views per video simply from throwing them up on YouTube and hoping people see it somehow. You'll be lucky to get 10 views a month.

Now, before anyone chimes in and says "yeah but it could happen", you're absolutely right. You could throw up a video that catches fire for some reason, and really drives the traffic. But 99% of the time that isn't going to happen. If you expect your videos to be seen, you're going to have to make SOME effort to promote them. Build it and they will come doesn't even work on YouTube.

Well, you may be right at this day in time, but the last time I put a YT video up (was a while back) just for testing purposes with no type of promotion, it reached about 250 views in a week and a half. It then hit a dry spot for about a week averaging maybe 2 or 3 viewers per day and then again, started gaining momentum and after a month the video was at around 700 views. No promotion whatsoever.

However, I did have tags in my video. I didn't go and research what tags to put and manipulate the video title, etc. etc. but I did put tags that the video relates to. That may have made the difference.

Are there really videos that gets <10 views/month?!?! I highly doubt that. lol

          --------

          Black Hat,

I was using 10 visitors per day as an example. The point that I was trying to make was not how many visitors you'll get, but the principle of the "number game" on youtube. The more videos you put up, the more traffic you'll end up getting in the long run. It's a snowball effect, and that's what I wanted them to take from my post. Even if you don't rank the video, the snowball effect still applies, and you can still eventually expect to get decent traffic to your squeeze page after uploading a large number of videos.

They can be ranked at any time, but getting them up there is the most important step because a lot of people don't get to that step.

The best way to get videos ranked is use the right keywords in your title, description and also the tags. Use relevant, targeted keywords people are frequently typing in. Example "ABC product review" could be the title. Description could be "Looking at buying ABC product? make sure to watch this video and get my complete review on the ABC product. You don't want to miss this." and then the tags of course have the keywords "ABC product, ABC product review, Buy ABC product" etc... Hope that helps.
