Recommendations for marketing a media artist

Hello everyone!

This is my first post, and I was hoping I could get some help and advice. I am a multimedia artist, if you haven't guessed, this means my main skills are specialized in filmmaking, video, photo, design and performance.

Nowadays that means using social marketing to get your name out there and create a brand/identity for yourself online to really separate yourself, and gain some notice. Two days ago I released a music video (google James Supercave - Georgian Orange, I can't post links because I don't have enough posts, sorry for the inconvenience) and ideally I would love to make this video go viral in a very real way. I am utilizing all the social media and online marketing I have learned to try and make this video seen by the public, and I want to utilize this video as a way to learn how to get to a point where I can get lots of views on a consistent basis every time I release something new.

So far I have had a medium sized music blog premiere the video, I have direct messaged on facebook and through email all my friends and asked them to re-post it, and I have submitted the video on reddit, tumblr, and buzzfeed. After two days this has got me a little over 500 views. Which is not even close to what I was hoping for.

Now I know of places like fiverr, and I have bought over 100,000 views, 100 likes, and 100 comments before for another one of my vids. But most if not all of this exposure wasn't real. However the views or comments were generated you could tell they were obviously fake, and didn't create any real exposure or new fans. So I am weary of buying views again, or using Vagex or Enhance Views, I feel like they won't expose the video to people that would generally be interested in the video.

Basically I would love if any of you could check out the video, and let me know what you think is the best way to get people to see this and perhaps make it go viral for real, where the views aren't just stuffed numbers, and actually sincere.
