How to convet traffic to sales ?

Hi Warriors

My Website : watch-tvonlaptop.com
i'm getting alot of traffic to my site but i don't have any sales,
there is any advice to start convert from my site ?

    You can't convert traffic to sales, that's your websites job.

    What type of traffic are you bringing?
    Also, how much? Because that might play a factor as well.

      I bought traffic from a company , targeted traffic that relate to my niche.

        What company? Is that company credible?

        What I mean by, "You can't convert traffic to sales, that's your websites job" is exactly what JabMonkey said following my post. You website isn't converting the traffic into sales.

        Also, you might be paying for some really crappy traffic.

      You could try adsense,
      and possibly amazon products..

      Depending on how much traffic you could rent out,
      advertising space..

      Put an opt-in form and capture email addresses..

    No offense, but you want honesty, yes? Your site sucks. It's boring. Doesn't work, period.
    So do this...
    Slam it in people's face...the benefits....what does it MEAN to someone if they order this? How will it make their lives easier, better, less costly, more enjoyable...
    Get BIG with graphics on this type of niche....BIG! Make it EXCITING!
    Get UNIQUE with graphics and BIG fonts, not those wimpy little descriptions.
    CONVINCE them....it's video, dude....it's movies....SLING some amazing graphics in there!

        Yeah. The first affiliate link on your page. That's what he's talking about. Big, in your face, benefits. Your site looks nothing like it.

        Someone searching for "watch TV on laptop" doesn't want a blog. They're not gonna read a wall of text. They're looking to watch TV, right now. If you're gonna convince them to stop and pull out their wallet first, you better convince them FAST that they'll get the TV they want faster/easier by giving you a credit card number than clicking the BACK button and looking at the next result (which is probably free!).

    Two things are happening here:

    1) you're either getting the "wrong" traffic. (non-buyer traffic)

    OR

    2) your copy isn't working and you need to do some testing.

    Make sure you know your customers objections and use something like Optimizely to test pages.

      I think it's both. :rolleyes:

      He bought traffic from a targeted traffic company that's related to his niche, and his website, well... It probably has a high bounce rate. It needs work.

    The site isn't too bad and the fact that it doesn't force feed me an offer is something i appreciate.

    I like the design, everything is where its supposed to be and if i was i your target market i wouldn't get lost looking for a next step to take. However, its feels to much like a blog with too many outbound links, but that alone isn't a big deal.

    Maybe the traffic is not as targeted as you think it is, try another a source before you can conclude that the problem is with the site because i feel like if the isn't perfect it should do do something in terms of conversions.

        One of the most important things that an Internet Marketer could do is TEST. You should always be looking to increase conversions on your site. Try different headlines, different images, banners, text. call to actions, buttons, colors of buttons in some cases even different affiliate products...

        Basically there are a ton of things you can test, but the thing you don't want to do is change things that don't need to be changed or won't make a difference at all.

        I know what its like to put all this time and effort into a website and not make any sales... I did it almost constantly when I first started online 3 years ago.

        Then I started testing my sites and it made a world of a difference.

        I actually wrote an ebook (and sold as a WSO) strictly on the importance of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and I am looking to give it out free as a WSO for people who have this same issue with their sites.

        CRO seems to be a topic not too many people follow but can make a world of difference in the amount of money they can receive just by tweaking things on their sites.

        I will be happy to send you a copy in a day or two for free once I have everything set up.

    Like many have said it depending on your traffic. Just because you bought it doesn't make it good.

    Guys simply criticizing his page will not help, at least give some constructive criticism so he can learn.

    First of all breakup your site a bit so it's easier to read or skim through. After all not everyone on your site will read your whole copy. The best and easiest ways to do this is use headings. Also try to make the heading interesting. Add some eye catching photos too!

      I would say it seems impersonable, it doesn't show any type of engagement or feedback. It reminds me of one of those place holder type of pages where they put up some ads until they finish building their site. Keep in mind, I'm only saying this to help, make it more personable and add some social networking techniques like share on twitter, facebook, etc. And, try to work more on the SEO part of it too, it's good to buy traffic, but you want to stay away form those 10k visitors for like $5 deals, they NEVER work, if you can determine your conversion, you can try a traffic source like bidvertiser PPC where you can profit, leverage and keep your ad running.     I would said that your site look great., but to convert visitors on sale, you will need at first to get targeted visitors. You can have 100 000 visitors per day on your LP, if there are not target you will make 0 sales. But with targeted visitors even if their are few, you have more chance to convert your traffic into sale.
