Is IM a good introduction to entrepreneurship for collegiates?

Hey everyone -
So currently I'm working on a lead offer for my first newsletter so I can begin collecting leads and promoting info products as an affiliate (only 1, the only 1 Ive ever bought & sincerely believe in), & in the future create my own products that serve the same market although around different topics -

- So with the freebie I'm going to be trying to build some credability for myself, although it seems sort of catch22ish if I have no credentials to prove I'm credible enough to write accurately in the first place in the free lead offer. let it be note I've done my research, having read books by established authors who've sold this same information in millions of copies of their own books. - what I'm doing is taking their information and positioning it to benefit a specific market. - if all of this is too general I apologize -

-Lets say I start getting some subscribers, & I begin to create my own ebook,
-This ebook would be aimed at informing the reader with everything they would need to achieve their muscle building & fat loss goals - I've been an avid reader of fitness blogs & youtube channels of natural bodybuilders & have soaked up all the info I possibly could on the top forums & their respective articles. But because I myself have not yet achieved the end result of getting totally frigging RIPPED out of my mind, I feel this would hurt my conversion rate from subscriber to paying customer.

This post is getting on, but you see my problem. I'm sorry I didn't make this as easy to read as I could, I just had to get it all out.

I am serious about entrepreneurship, internet marketing seems like a good first experiment, but at what point do i know if I am wasting my time. I enjoy writing but if their is no reward tied to all of this then I will be a very sad panda.

I wish I got more involved in IM when I was in college. I would tell you to
not experiment but do it.... find a model you like the best then follow it.
