Hi Guys

Never forget the power of email.

144.8 billion emails are sent per day
I know it's been said many times on the Warrior Forum "build a list", but it is still very important, it's something you can always fall back on to keep your marketing efforts going.

Anyway I found this article interesting:

Hope you find it interesting

I wouldn't expect it to lose popularity.

Yeah you need to make sure your emails are sent to people who want them and you need to keep the readers entertained. It's a balancing act. You don't want them to get bored or think your emails are repetitive.

I have to wonder how they're estimating those emails. As in, is that attempted connections, actual deliveries, or some other mix? How many of those counted are spams?

The numbers that would interest me would be the median and average numbers of spams and non-spam emails delivered per person daily.

In short, what does a normal inbox look like every morning or evening?

Email wont die - at least not for a very, very long time.

I've got agree with Paul though, no way that amount of legitmate emails are sent everyday. I would go with at least half of them being spam.

I see email as a tool like the telephone. Since the 1870s the original telephone evolved from its original intention to what it is today beyond recognition, better and much smarter. This is only the beginning. I akin email to the telephone in that it too will be around for a long while becoming better and smarter as it evolves with technology .

Secondly, there are untold millions of traditional and tech-based businesses (solos, retail, manufacturing, services, education, homebased, etc) in every city around the world. At any given moment these all resort to email in one way or another every single day - don't let the gurus tell you otherwise. I can tell you now that one of the first things these businesses will do in the morning (and so will you and I) is check their email inboxes and send out emails.

Yes, email as a tool is here to stay....for a long while yet, don't you worry about that.

    It's simple but effective!

That's why it works! Yes maybe things will change to email and someone is bound to make it better some day and I hope they do.

If email does change beyond recognition then it is up to us marketers to embrace those changes and enjoy the process of doing so.

All I know is that I get a buzz when I know people have listened to what I have to say and have taken action with whatever it is I am teaching, recommending etc.

It is a wonderful tool and will always be remembered as one the greats no matter what changes may happen in future years.

Happy weekend everyone have a great one!!!
