Just like any "search engine" you need to do some keyword research and find out what people are searching for on Fiverr. Since there are no tools to do this, my advice would be to look at the keyword phrases being used by the top providers you are competing with. If you basically mimic their titles and tags you are far more likely to get the kind of traffic you want to your gigs.

At first you should promote your gigs through social media then cteate a signature of your gig to your niche forum site.

First of all, you need to have a video describing your gig.
Then search for the first top rated gigs in your category - cross-check which keywords you can find among all of those. Use as many tags as possible, have a couple of relevant photos, offer a small "bonus" to the first buyers.

When I used to sell on fiverr I used to create usernames same as I am selling, for example if I am selling logo design my name was design_a_logo, I get the higher place in search engine, but I don't know if this works now.

To boost your Fiverr profile, do this: when sending a note with your COMPLETED ORDER, give the buyer an incentive to give you a review by offering the buyer FREE facebook fan page wall mentions or twitter feed mentions or a link on a blog post. These cost nothing if you already have them and its a great way to motivate them to fill up your service page with reviews.

I mentioned video earlier. Make sure to have a VOICE OVER in that video. Diagrams also help. The key is to communicate your value proposition VERY CLEARLY.

why not make different versions of the other gigs? Also, when you complete a job for the top selling gig, upsell your other gigs? Finally, ask readers of your gig page to add you to their collection.

From my experience you have to promote your gigs outside Fiverr as much as you can, and I think if you drive traffic to your gig, Fiverr will display it in searches more often too (don't hold me against it, it's just a presumption).
Other suggestion... try and get your gig collected by as many people possible.

One tip I would recommend is not to use the same description as a top rated gig as this always does not work.

Dude, wait for sometime..as we all know that fiverr traffic is increasing day by day...it takes some time for your gig to come in the top search results...you can add more specific keywords to your gig which is best suitable for your gig...you can add a video which describe your services in a better way...or try to divert to traffic to your profile page...

    1) Do research of the most popular gig niches, pick the ones you also can do or learn to do, especially if they are easy to complete quickly.

    2) Do keyword research of the words used to promote those top gigs, and ensure they are low competition keywords.

    3) Start your fiverr gig(s) using the selected keywords in the title and text summary. Perhaps multiply your exposure by creating the same gigs on 5-10 Fiverr alternative sites, with the same keywords. Unify the gig accounts by using the same email, so it acts as the hub to receive notification of all gig orders that come in.

    4) Start a blog (blogger will do) to promote the links to your gigs, using the same keywords. The blog becomes your central hub to create traffic for all your gigs.

    5) Use uploaded videos, Web 2.0s, article submissions, social media, and the like to promote the gig blog and/or the gig urls. This full set-up of a support system for your Fiverr et al gigs should result in a snowball of gig orders over time.

It can be a very hard task to get orders on Fiverr, but it can be done.

    Here are some advices:

    - Create more than 1 gig.
    - Create useful and profitable gigs, do not create gigs that have less demands.
    - Buy a few SEO related software and offer SEO related service.
    - Start to provide article writing service or forum posting service. In my experience, these two always generate orders.
    - Add a video with your Fiverr gig and get a unique image for your gig.
