New Site How to grow any business-please review

Hi fellow warriors,
I have just put up a new site re how to grow any business.
I have been in business as a professional business adviser
for many years. A few years ago I realised that I must get
some expertise in internet marketing as this is where the
business future lies ( if not the present).

The purpose of the site will be to get some of this experience
out on the www. It's aim is to try to help anyone with an interest in
starting or growing an offline or online business. Most of the help
goes out with the autoresponder email course.

As the site is fresh up I should be grateful if you have some time
to take a look and maybe spot the glarring typo's etc
Any constructive criticism/feedback / ideas for improvement would be appreciated.

Also, if any of you have a top quality affiliate program related to the grow a business niche
please feel free to pm me details. If appropriate I will look to promote in the email follow up.

    To be blunt, Harvey Segal's original simple sales page for this was far better.

    His sales page made use of colour and one of the prime aspects of his methodology. Yours makes little use of colour, the fonts are bland and lack impact and the message just doesn't come across because of that.

      I agree with the first poster,

      Try using some good bullet points. Also everything look jumbled together. Try using a 1.5 spacing.

      Instead of having so much words on the page, try just using the bullet points of the main reason why someone would want to download your free report.

      Place your optin box above the fold. Don't let your reader have to scroll down too far to optin.

      Personally, I found the font changes to be a bit disorienting.

      Also, have you formulated a plan to market this page? The ebook you are promoting is extremely common. A quick Google search turned up over 11,000 results. Do you have a plan to out perform all these other people?

    Don't centre your copy text. It is harder to read.

    Make more bullet points.

    Make it easier to read generally, with more sub headings.

    Personally, I don't like your headline. Yes, it is "clever" but it lacks impact and doesn't grab me. Also it's a little too long.

    Paul,

    Headline does not work well. Why have you mixed in a serif-face under the headline? Put your signup form above the fold and make your free offer compelling. Don't center the body text. Put in bullet points.

      I do not like the black bar at the top and the sub headline fronts are much too small.

      Too many colors on the sub headline.

      The download button is black and hard to see.

      Check out some similar sales pages for ideas.

    I will keep working on the site. My aim is to get it to a stage where it's good enough to make small changes for test purposes. Looks like I've got a long way to go before I'm at that stage.
    I'm no web designer that's for sure. Any views on whether I should outsource mini site
    production. If so somewhere like rent a coder or any recomendations ?

    Please change the color of all red fonts. The font size of headings may be higher than the body text. The headings may also be made bold. The ecover also needs to be changed. You can go for a better ecover than the existing one.
