Why I freaking love affiliate marketing...

I checked one of my old affiliate accounts that I promoted and FORGOT at the beginning of this year.

I had already collected about $700 a few months ago... so I hop in there today and BAMMM!

I see $500 sitting there, I didn't do anything since the beginning of this year.

What I am assuming... is that the leads I generated for this particular affiliate program are being sold to on a consistent basis (bless the lord for e-mail marketing).

So people that didn't necessarily buy something during the time of my promotion ended up buying almost half a year later!

Crazy... but I guess that's why its so important to have a very persistent and good sales funnel.

And the great thing about affiliate marketing is that all you have to do is get people into someone else's sales funnel and they do all the heavy lifting.

I think I spent a maximum of 2 hours working on the promotion, between writing the blog post and hiring outsourcers to do SEO and PPC.

I'm telling you guys, just promote a lot of shit! Have half decent copywriting skills and you'll make sales.

I make a random sale from an abandoned blog here and there from time to time... it all adds up!
