Collect Payment and Subscribe to List

Hi,

I want to collect payment AND add a user to my list at the same time. In other words, a special offer ($5 instead of $47) is enticing a user to sign up.

What is the best way to do this? Collect payment through a Paypal button first and then get them to subscribe to my list or vice-versa? Maybe both actions can be done simultaneously. I use MailChimp.

Thanks for any help.

Brian

In your P/P button code you just put in the redirect url on completion as your sign up page.
Make the text on the button 'complete your purchase'....job done.

Um... thats not working. I have turned on Auto Return and specified a return address in the button... however, it's not working automatically. The user upon completing their transaction can click a button that says return to website BUT it doesn't do it automatically.

You can also use a membership script that links your autoresponder to paypal direct and issues an email to confirm to get on list as soon as they pay. They don't need to re-enter their details.

I like that Rapid Action Profits script, which can auto-subscribe
a customer to a list without requiring them to fill out a form.

Paypal to an extent frowns upon you forcing a customer to join
a list after they've made a purchase just to get what they've
    already purchased.

There are lots of ways of doing it though.

    Hi Willie,

Thanks for the response. I use Mailchimp and there was an intergration tab within it that allowed me to integrate PayPal.
