AFFILIATE Programs CHEAT/Shave... What To Do?

Hello, I've seen thousands of people say they earn BIG money online through affiliate marketing, how?

What do you look for in the program?

I'm great with SEO and IM; however, every affiliate company I get with does the same thing.

The first two to three weeks, I earn quite a few sales daily. But then, they either start shaving the majority of my sales or turn my tracking off (when I put in more work, but start seeing less sales, I have friends to test my links, that's how I find out).

I just want to find a handful of legit companies to promote. Companies that once I go through the hard work of writing good ads, SEO, etc. they will not rip me off.

I am losing hope. Please help me. How can I find an affiliate program that will credit the majority of my sales? Is there anything I can do once I have proof I've been cheated?

I've dealt with many of cheating affiliate programs. The program I am having issues with currently is Hostgator.

I've seen mixed reviews. Some claim Hostgator doesn't cheat (yea right) and others admit that they have been cheated. To everyone, before you consider wasting your time with Hostgator, please see one of my screenshots of being cheated and know that we are not lying on Hostgator!

I actually posted part of my proof in their forum ( Forums.hostgator.com/you-pay-me-my-450-t202535.html )

Even though they credited a great deal of my sales, I found out that some sales never showed up at all. Now they have turned my tracking off, completely.

I have even more proof; however, I'll leave it at that (for now at least).

You're lucky if you haven't had any problems with these companies.

    Hi Y,

Have you considered creating and selling your own products?

Then you will be the Vendor (if you have an aff program) and not the Affiliate.

I've considered it before, but I prefer being able to promote a variety of programs.

But thanks to your suggestion, I'm strongly considering leaving affiliate programs alone. Write some ebooks, start up an online store or something.

      Thanks!

Create your own products to avoid your dilemma.

Thanks, but no one is willing to share some trustworthy affiliate companies or how I can get the money I earned?

I know I'm not the only one who's been ripped off.

      Thanks anyway...

I've heard a lot of complaints about Hostgator.
A better forum to find affiliate programs is abestweb.com.

I gave up promoting Hostgator a long time ago for the same reasons. All work ... no pay. I'm not much of an affiliate marketer, so I don't have any recommendations for you, but I'd quit Hostgator if I were you.

Switch to bluehost. They are great to work with.
