1 Site per Niche vs More

INTERNET MARKETING

Is it best to have one site per niche or more? I currently have a squidoo lense for product X as well as a website with an opt in autoresponder series selling the same product X. Should I just use this for testing purposes as it takes twice as much marketing to get traffic to both sites?

You only have 1 squidoo lens and 1 site for a niche?..

I'd be bored with so little effort in a niche, increase the effort, increase the eyeballs... that's my method. I usually have one squidoo lens per choice keyword (not all keywords, just the hot ones)

Yes, it does take more effort to have more pages, but you want more money, right?

  I use it as a secondary level promotional platform (your own website being a primary level).. I would never base my internet marketing business on it, instead I use it to generate traffic and pre-sell traffic on the following offer or product.

  Aim for getting your website to the #1 ranking, and then try to get the rest of the first page with lenses, articles, blogs, and other sites. Once you own the first page, then you've got a cash cow.

I would advise one main primary site and several secondary sites linking to your primary sites.
