Listbuilding Questions

I have been involved in IM for about 8 years now but have never given a close look to list building. I have done some searching on the WF for the following questions but would also like help if possible on the following questions.

1) Can you buy a list?
2) Can you hire someone to build a list for you?
3) Best free listbuilding tactics quickly?
4) One type of convertion rate can you look for in the big evergreen markets?

    What have you been doing for 8 years?

    If you have a product then all listbuilding means is keeping in touch with your buyers via e-mail.

    Buying a list is not great, you don't know where / how it's been generated, and the top companies won't let you import the details.

    Before you hire anyone to create you a page you will need to invest in an autoresponder such as aweber or getresponse. Then also make sure that you see examples of pages the person has created.

    Overall the best thing to do is copy the best, so next time you're joining a list take notes about what you see, keep a swipe file of the bits you like and try to do the same in your niche but better.

    Based on this here's a rough outline.

    #1 domain name, hosting, aweber
    #2 create a free report outlining how to be successful with site flipping
    #3 create a paid product on how to be successful with site flipping
    #4 set up squeezepage and salespage
    #5 send traffic

    Ultimately your aim is to become the "go to guy" for site flipping, so get busy finding out how to reverse engineer what the current top people are doing.

    Like I said keep a swipe file of pages you like the look and feel of, most will be templates or can easily be modified by someone who knows what to do.

    I would use some sort of screen capture and record what happens when you join some lists.

    See how the top people in the world of site flipping and drop shipping compare to the IM world.

    You should be able to see who uses single vs double opt-in, how many offers are made, and what sort of content is being used to generate the leads.

    Once you find a system you like contact that person and see how they did it, was it software, and who taught them how to do it.

    wow, 8 years in the IM

    Let me say buying leads is not a good way to build successful online business.

    You got to look at what have you done for 8 years, see where you stand, and ask yourself these questions.

    * What can i do to get more business?
    * What can i change in my internet marketing to improve my out come?
    * How much time i need to learn more skills?

    No offense, but what have you learned about marketing in 8 years? I think you should already know that the first two questions you asked are easily answered even if you know next to nothing about list building.

    The whole point of anything we do online should be about building relationships. Your goals about building a list completely neglects this fact. After 8 years I'm very surprised.

    Choose one niche where people are already spending a lot of money

    Set up a squeeze page, and a OTO

    Drive as much targeted traffic to your squeeze page as you can using either free traffic or perhaps some solo ads and ppc

    Watch conversions and make tweaks and changes from there

    List building is very profitable you just need some patients and keep focused
