What is the 1 think you absolutely dread doing as an internet marketing?

Hi everyone,

As we know 97% of internet Marketers are currently failing to reach their dream of earning a full time income online.

So to label what is holding so many people back, I'd like to know what is the #1 thing in your day to day activities that you absolutely dread doing  and what do you think is responsible for holding you back?

For me it's design. Designing the website, brand, videos, content etc. and the problem I had when I started out was I didn't have the income to outsource any of it so I was stuck doing all the busy work. I'd love to hear other peoples struggles in hopes that we can all help each other out.

Thanks,

Casey

Since I don't have any design skills, I hate design the most. Thankfully, there are a lot of royalty-free free templates available online so I just tweak those. However, that can only take you so far. There are some designers on Fiverr and I've been able to get some help from there for mini-sites.

Reading negative posts by people who want to put their focus on failure, negativity, what doesn't work, why they don't like_____________(fill in the bank), instead of concentrating on what does work.

I appreciate your concern about negativity Don, and I agree with you on that note. However, that's not what I was getting at. Being that so many people, such as warrior forum members, are not reaching the level of success they are hoping for, I've opened this thread to see if we can help each other overcome these struggles that we are dealing with every day.

Being that there is such a small percentage of us succeeding, I'm sure the 97% of people struggling would love some help with their main problems.

I like the whole thing dealing with the internet, I guess that's what attracted me to it.

Because negative headlines work...copywriting 101 -Charlie page actually wrote it up in an awesome blog post about headlines. Curiosity no what I'm saying. Love it or hate it...it'll bring the eyeballs.

Back to the question at hand...the thing I absolutely dread is forgetting to track everything...it almost never happens anymore, but when I started I completely ignored analytics and tracking paths and goals. it was like riding a motorcyle down the freeway blindfolded...scary at best...

It sucked because whether I had a major win or a major loss I almost never knew what happened in the end.

Perhaps the reason 97% fail is because they think it will be easy, and then give up when they discover the truth.

It is hard, and yeah there are things that you will hate doing, but at the end of the day you have to get to it and put in the time and effort if you want to be successful. Start small and figure out what is profitable, and then scale it up when you've built up a sustainable cash flow.

I do not dread doing anything because I like what I do.

If you do not like what your doing then you are in the wrong line of work.

But to answer your question my least favorite is building backlinks, but that is what Fiverr is for

Having people ask a question that shows they didn't read what was written in advertising. I always feel like replying to them in a sarcastic way, but I never do. I just answer them. It would just save me having to respond if they saw it in the ad or email in the first place.

Nice response Entreprenuerjay! I like the way you put it and it made me want to rephrase the question.

Instead of what do you dread the most. If you could have help in one area, which would be most beneficial to help your progress faster in whatever you're working on.

I hate link building - so so boring - where's the creativity in that?. Also article writing is boring too.
