Amazon Customer Images

Does anyone know if I can use customer images from Amazon on my site?

For example: I'm looking at a product that has several user images. Since they're on Amazon's servers and uploaded to Amazon, am I able to use the images on my Amazon Associate site? Linking the image to the product of course.

Is this allowed?

    I think you can use them without any problem. They uploaded it as part of Amazon product promotion.. It's like uploaded photos at tripadvisor. But to make sure., just mention where the pictures come from..

    You should contact Amazon via the feedback link to ask, but based on answers I've heard to this question it seems like you can't use them because Amazon don't own the image rights, they are the customers images.

      Yeah, that's what I'm scared of, and I sent them the questions, but they only work 5 days a week....what nerve!

      This is true.....Amazon specifically says that uploaded pictures/images don't become Amazon property, the customer who uploaded them retains all rights. Hence, Amazon is not in any position to grant the use of customer uploaded pictures/images.
