How to make money on squidoo?

Hi

I usually share my blog posts on squido , but I noticed that they offering money making opportunity.
How does it exactly work ?

    Take a look at their offer, they lay it out pretty well. Go there first and then google any questions you're left with. You'll probably get faster answers to your question

      You can out your own adsense code on squidoo. Your add will show half time on your article.
      You have to seo on your article to get good revenue.

        On squidoo, you do not actually use your own adsense code. You get a share of the montly revenue based on the lens rank that your lenses have.

        You can also earn through amazon and ebay. This is done on a percentage.

        Squidoo is also one of the sites that is ok with affiliate links as long as you follow their Squid Don'ts.

        There are many members of this forum use Squidoo and have even written some good books to help you to get started with this site.

        Which raises the question, 'why publish and SEO an article on Squidoo - or anywhere else - for a fraction of the revenue I could glean in full by doing the same on my own site instead, along with all the associated benefits I'd get from doing so?'

          If you are going to do work to sell a product as an affiliate or even your own product, you are probably better served with setting up a Squidoo lens as a way of sending traffic to your site, rather than trying to make your product standout amongst the plethora of ads covering the pages at Squidoo.

          They do want you to create lenses there, but the goal is for the reader to click on the ads that Squidoo puts up which is rarely in the best interest of the lens creator.

              That sounds easy then, and nothing to worry about. Squidoo still does have some juice for backlinking and certainly can't hurt at this point anyway) to have some links to your blog posts from there.

    l think this is affilate sistem so you create links to the products and then i someone clicks on it you make money !

    I highly recommend against it. I used squidoo as my internet money making source for a year and they just recently killed my entire account. I had over 100 lenses and I was never given a reason why. I was also a squid giant and a squid angel. Get your own site where you do not have this risk.

      Squidoo is toast. Just look at their forums if you want proof. Squidoo is even locking lenses because of 'bad backlinks' believe it or not.

      If you have quality content which is sales oriented, my advice would be to start working on your own sites along with social marketing. Putting your good content on web 2.0 sites means eventually it will get dragged down to the level of the scammers when they invade the platform.

      Along with all the usual disadvantages like having to share revenue, not being in control of your own content or ads, etc.
