Hi,

I'm about to buy a new domain, but not sure if the english words can be translated directly into german.

I want to launch a news site in germany and looking for a domain. I tried to translate the words "TechnologyNews" into german and came up with "TechNachrichten". Is that good or does it not make sense in german?

        Hi Wide,

        technologieneuigkeiten.de

Also the word 'news' is used/understood by Germans, even though it's an English language word.

I'm not German but my girlfriend is.

Ich spreche nur ein kleines bisschen Deutsch.

That's not fully true. You may translate something ... and it could sound like sh*t in the foreign language (you won't notice, but the e.g. Germans would).
