Question for African Warriors (Nigerians, in particular) about payment methods & automation

Hi Warriors,

If any of you are from Africa (Nigeria, in particular), or, even if you're not, but know the answer anyway, could you please help me with the following?

I have found many places where e-books, and similar digital products, are being sold to Africans (and, again, Nigeria, in particular). And, by that, I don't mean a general worldwide focus that happens to include Africans but, rather, sellers are directly targeting Africans in their marketing campaigns.

However, since options like Clickbank and Paypal are not available, the payment methods employed by sellers seem to be...

  1. Direct Deposit.
  2. Liberty Reserve.
  3. Payment by text message.
None of these options lend themselves to instant downloads in the same way that Clickbank (for example) does (meaning the buyers pays and is immediately given access to a download page).

Or do they?

Well, I'm pretty certain direct deposit can't, but what about the other two?
(I'm probably missing something - I usually do. )

Does anyone know?

And, if so, how is it done?

Any thoughts?

Regards,

Tommy.

From experience I know that Paypal is used widely in Nigeria (it will take too long to explain how). If you have a product that you want to sell to them, and you can accept Paypal yourself, just go ahead and start your marketing campaign.

Everything I've experienced says the exact opposite.
