INTERNET MARKETING

I just got an email from 1&1 (1&1 Internet - Home) that they're doing 99 cent .com registrations from now until midnight on Sept 30th. If you're looking to get some new domains, this looks like a great time to get them!

Make sure and pay attention to the renewal fees and only buy 1 year. You may end up transferring them in a few months to a lower-cost registrar for renewals.

  Thanks a ton for the share Jay, but I've NEVER had a good experience with 1&1.
  
  But if someone is desperate to save $8 on their domain, at the risk of spending hours dealing with bad customer service- go for it

Maybe... if they'll let them go...

(Was a web-host several years ago and would be called upon frequently by new customers driven to frustration by 1&1's insincerity and obstructiveness when attempting to leave. Maybe things have changed - some say so, some say not. Just throwing my 2 cents out there, is all.)
